Never before in the two hundred and thirty three year history of the Republic have we faced as great a threat to our individual freedoms as that which is Obama. He has sought not only to co-opt a huge segment of the economic capacity of this nation through the government seizure of the banking and automotive industry, but now he and his fellow leaches on the national wealth seek to annex an even larger segment of the nation’s identity. The proposed government takeover of the health care system represents a direct threat to the individual sovereignty of each and every productive member of this Nation. These shackles, once bound may never again be broken, forever condemning us, the producer, to the same fate as that of the mindless slave. Nothing need be said about the manner in which this proposed confiscation has been received by my fellow patriots, for if one only lends his ear to the wind their voices can be heard above the din of the rabble who clamor for the blood and sweat of our toil. “Just one more piece of flesh, and we shall feast no more” our adversaries bellow, all the while they hone their blades in anticipation of the next meal delivered by the hands of governmental blackmail and faux crisis. Our response has shocked our antagonist to the core, who, assuming that we, once again, would roll over and accept the financial rape we have tolerated again, again, and once more again, instead have risen up in open and direct defiance of the dictates from Washington. We have defied their expectations of being easy fodder for their rhetorical cannons, though aimed directly at the minds of the uninformed and sycophants, we have gallantly and courageously charged headlong to challenge. Through the efforts of the individual, the collective has begun to recoil under our actions and efforts. At last the momentous day has arrived when the great struggle for the soul of this nation has been joined and the actions of the statist have called to the mat and confronted. Finally the individual is beginning to scale the ramparts of despotism, and the fire in his eyes is unmistakable, for it represents the desire for freedom, the greatest motivation man has ever known.

Despite failing numbers in the various polls and the turn of public opinion against their position the struggle is not over, nay it has only begun. Years lie before us until we can rest in the assurance that our freedom is secure and we can again return our focus on the more mundane pursuits of everyday life. Our enemy is ravenous in its hunger for power and control, shredding the constitution without flinching as they assault the intelligence of the citizenry and the sanctity of their institutions. The counter attack will be upon us soon. In the bat of an eye they will most assuredly unleash a media barrage the likes of which has never been witnessed throughout our existence. The control of the health care system is paramount to their desire to dictate every facet of our lives, for through their conquest they will have the means to force their will upon all of us in the guise of the “common good.” As a result their attacks will be vicious, holding nothing in reserve in their quest with accusations of insensitivity, lack of compassion, and racism heaped upon their detractors. In their efforts to bind us all together under the yoke of government control one can fully expect to see the fetid bloated corps of that murderous sot Kennedy brought forth from the grave and paraded about in an effort to generate sympathy for that cause lost till the end of his days. “Win it for ‘ole Teddy” they shall screech, intoning the image of martyr for the cause once more upon the family name in hopes of again conjuring up the fraudulent illusion of what they once, so long ago, treacherously christened “Camelot.” They shall rest at nothing in their attempts to dissuade the public and swindle those lacking the will or faculties to resist. They shall prey on the week and infirmed, casting them as victims of the capitalist system in the drama skillfully crafted by the charlatans who endeavor to steal from your pockets and subjugate your soul.

Therefore we must not relent in our struggle. Not for one moment can we allow them to catch their breath as they attempt to impugn the truth of our words and force of our actions through their lies, omissions, and misrepresentations. We must brace ourselves for the weight of their onslaught and be prepared to bear the burden that falls on us as it has all defenders of liberty that have come before. Just as they have stood up to the despots of their day, so must we stand against those who seek to cast the republic down into the morass of slavery that is socialism. Our rhetoric must be incendiary and unrelenting; our voices must be loud and clear as we squeeze the truth from the rotting fruit of lies. Even though we did not go seeking a confrontation with our government events have lead us to this current state where the task of defending liberty and individual freedom has fallen to us. Now is the time to stand and fight against their withering onslaught. Now is the time to face their fire without flinching. Now is the time when all patriots must stand up to their government and say “no more! You have taken enough already.” Now is the time when push has finally come to shove. Defend liberty as if you were defending your life, for without freedom, life is nothing but slavery, and slavery is no way to live.

Malicious Intent – Obama and The Crisis of Fear

Are we to believe that Obama is quite as dim-witted as he might appear to be on the surface? Can we attribute every foolish decision, every stale rehashed notion that might enter that sorry excuse for a mind to the simple lack of understanding and appreciation for principals, especially those within the realm of economics, already proven to be true? No, although he falls well short of the omniscience ascribed to him by those truly senseless fools eternally plagued by a clouded perception of reality, who have to this point so vehemently support their savior, he does possess some, all be it marginal, capacity for reasoned thought. When one accepts this fact he is then confronted with the question of why he continues to propose and enact policy that has had such a detrimental effect on the national economy and the underlying psychology of the markets. If he is truly honest and straightforward with the American people, as he so often claims is his intent, then why can he not come forth and describe in detail the ultimate goals that motivates and drives him in his decision making process? The answer is quite simple when one looks past the petty sophistry relentlessly practiced by this administration and in turn parroted constantly by those willing to carry his water in the media. The whole act is intentionally designed to destroy confidence in the capitalist system in order to foist the same old decayed philosophy of collectivism on the shoulders of the American people, more specifically the creators of wealth.

When the actions of the current administration are viewed from the perspective of the end result the deduction must be made that either Obama and his clan do not care a whit for the producers upon whose shoulders rests the viability of the national economy or his sole intent is to punish those who produce and condemn them to the same fate as those who ravenously consume the fruits of their labor. In either case one arrives at the conclusion that there is an organized attempt to transfer wealth from the producer to the consumer whether it be through depreciation of their investments or the blatant confiscation of their wealth my means of confiscation through confiscatory tax policies. These are not actions that happen to appear by some magical process that conjures them from the ether. No, they are all part of a predetermined course of actions initiated well before the recent election intended to fracture the foundation of the capitalist system and provide an excuse to supplant the natural order with some monstrosity envisaged by the fraudulent minds polluted by a faulty philosophy that has long sense been proven deficient.

As of yet we are prevented from arriving at any positive conclusion that allows us to determine whether the nature of Obama’s intent be malicious or the product of an ill developed intellect the fact remains that every action put forth by this administration has resulted in further decay in the economic stability and viability of this nation and the prolonged suffering of a sizable portion of its citizenry. I am of the opinion that we have not arrived at our current situation by mere chance and that (and here I run the risk of adopting the prose and tone of the conspiracy theorist) policy decision here to fore have been made with the conscious intent of harming the producers to the point that they are willing to accept any solution, no mater how repugnant to their personal philosophies, to stop the bleeding and restore some sense of stability to the markets.

By examining the rhetoric of Obama both during the previous election cycle and again following his inauguration we see a pattern that points to his preconceived desire to bring us all to the precipice, and quite possibly drag us all down into the economic abyss. Never before have we been witness to someone who so deliberately sought to spread fear and anxiousness while at the same time promoting hope and deliverance. In the past, with other collectivists of the same stripe, one could have attributed such rhetoric simply to the desire to stoke the fear of the masses in hopes of simply acquiring a grip on power, but in the case of Obama it would appear that his actions are several degrees more nefarious and destructive in their intent. This can be demonstrated by the fact that once he and his merry band of despots in the Democratic Party had secured a strangle hold upon the reigns of power he did not alter his rhetoric in hopes of steering the economy away from the chasm that now lay before us, nay, instead he increased the level of pessimism in his tone and word in the apparent hopes of accelerating our collective demise. For someone who rode the white horse of hope into the Oval office he seemed more than willing to sow the seeds of fear and resentment all in hopes of reaping the caustic crop they now produce. Every time this false messiah uttered one word, every time he proposed any policy, every time he offered any suggestion that might be viewed as an approach towards attempting to meddle with the capitalist structure, the markets reacted violently, dropping precipitously and reinforcing the panic to which the average investor is subject to fall prey. Never once was there any attempt to offer any words of optimism or genuine hope to those who willingly risk their hard earn capital in hopes of turning a profit for the sake of society as a whole. No he only offered the bitter draught of pessimism, fear, and panic.

Can any answer other than an artificial inflation of the then already present panic lend itself to the tenants of logic and reason than to believe that the current state of affairs is the result a conscious attempt to thwart the capitalist system and besmirch its potential? What we are witnessing is the intentional infliction of economic suffering upon the citizenry in a veiled attempt to enslave each and every one of us with the chains of universal brotherhood and blind socialism. If this be true, and as it stands on its face it would appear to be so, this represents the highest form of deception and treachery ever exhibited by an executive in the history of the republic. These are historic times when one realizes that we now have someone ensconced in power who so loathes the economic prosperity enjoyed by the producers of this great nation that he is willing to purposely destroy the very engine that creates wealth and prosperity in hopes of leveling the playing field and thereby reducing each and everyone of us to poverty and eventually slavery. To Obama this is a virtue of the highest order, but to those of us who are counted amongst the remaining free thinkers this is nothing more than pure treason.

American Despotism - The Liberal Assault on Limbaugh

As if the current economic turmoil were not enough to keep Obama and his lack luster staff of sycophants and moochers busy these days, running from press briefing to press briefing in what would appear to be an organized effort to drive the economy into an even deeper hole than its already in, reports are now circulating that senior White House aids are intimately involved in the effort to destroy the de facto spokesperson for today’s conservative movement, Rush Limbaugh. The mere fact that White House officials are involved in any attempt to destroy the career or reputation of a private citizen for what he has the audacity to say should send shivers down the spine of any freedom loving citizen and makes them seethe with anger. Make no mistake; this is not only an assault on what Limbaugh says, but his ability to say it, and by attempting to undermine his ability to communicate his message they are engaged in the very act of tyranny this republic was established to oppose.

Is there any doubt now that what Obama and his merry band of fools are engaged in is nothing more than a soft revolution that is intended to destroy the very fabric of this nation and replace it with a dictatorship clad in the cloth of faux democracy. By targeting the loudest and harshest critic of their plan team Obama betray their diabolical intent to stifle free speech and decent and strike fear into anyone who has the nerve to stand up against their American form of despotism. They seek only to destroy anyone who stands in their path and by targeting the biggest and the loudest one amongst us they intent to make an example of anyone who is foolish enough to oppose their quickening march to collectivism.

It must be understood that this is an assault on the rights of a free citizen to criticize and oppose the policies and actions of their elected government. Obama has never before faced harsh opposition to his policies, whether it be as President of the Harvard Law Review or as a member of some community organization designed to destroy the foundation of the inner cities by spreading socialism and government dependency, and now that he does he feels that it must be squelched. Throughout his entire career he has been handled with kid gloves by those around him, bowing to his every wish as if he were some sort modern day Xerxes, a man-god incarnate, to be obeyed, feared, and revered. This is displayed by his reaction to the voices of opposition and his earnest drive to shut them up out of fear that they might succeed in reaching the ear of the masses and whisper the blasphemous truth that Obama is mere mortal with corrupt policies and disastrous intentions.

Throughout the entire eight years of the Bush administration we heard repeated cries that the first amendment was under assault and the very foundation of our liberties were threatened, and never once did they produce one citizen who could even claim that he was the target of unconstitutional attacks on his right to free speech. These claims were heralded from the mountain tops as media personalities such as Chris Mathews and his ilk wrung their hands and shed crocodile tears in hopes that they could facilitate the impeachment the so cravenly desired but were never able to achieve. What do they do now that a private citizen and his right to freely express his opposition to this monstrous new administration are under attack in an attempt to silence him and all critics? Do they rush to his defense? Do they stand up against tyranny and demand justice? No, they join in the attack acting as the edge of the knife as it is used to slit the throat of their opposition. They act in unison with those despots who threaten to undermine the very basis of their way of life. They, compelled by some sort of subconscious self loathing, join in attacking the very freedoms that allow them to conduct their business, all in hopes of furthering their common agenda of implementing socialism and thereby control over the individual.

This is an attack on what Limbaugh says and his right to say it. They cannot tolerate anyone who dares to oppose their drive for universal control conceived in the darkest reaches of history past. Yet Limbaugh continues to resist. There he stands as one of the last amongst that once lauded profession whose tradition was steeped in revelation of the truth and has now sunk to the level of an Olberman or a Maddow. Unwilling to bow before the throne of Obama or kiss the ring of his minions he has fallen under the coordinated assault of what was once, not long ago, the abode of humility and freedom but has now become the domain of the corrupt tyrant.

Today marks the 98th anniversary of the birth of the greatest American President since Lincoln, Ronald Wilson Reagan. Rising from humble beginnings in Tampico, Illinois he would go on to become the guiding light of the conservative movement. Always a champion of individual rights and free market capitalism Reagan proved, following four disastrous years of the Carter administration marked by economic recession and general malaise, that America could once again become the America that the founders had intended. Always delivering a message of optimism and confidence in the latent power possessed by each and every American he demonstrated that through hard work and determination we could overcome any obstacle that stood in our way. Reagan, through his positive message and deliberate actions, has become the archetype for the modern conservative, representing honor, conviction, and certainty in our cause. This mountain of a man stands alone as one who restored the faith of all Americans in the potential and greatness of their country when we had lost all sight of who we are and what we could become.

Happy Birthday Mr. President, we sure as hell could use you today!

Envy and the Intellectual Deficit of the Collectivist

“Sin” and the condition of Man
Man’s life can be summed up as the never ending desire to fulfill certain basic needs. As I am sure that the majority of the readers are familiar with Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, I will not waste my time in recalling all of the various nuances involved when discussing these motivating factors. It shall suffice to say that man is driven by want, in his most elemental form he is compelled to quench his desires by the means at his disposal, weather it be industriousness or villainy. The yearning to calm this insatiable beast that forever hounds mankind lends itself to frustration, in part to its never ending pull on the soul of mankind. The end result of this frustration manifests itself in that emotion all too common to man, envy. Much has been written about envy and the power it possesses over man; its ability to blind one out of lust or its detrimental effect on everyday social relationships. Although envy is counted amongst Christianity’s seven deadly sins and universally condemned by religious institutions of all denominations for its adverse affect on the human spirit, the positive effects of envy on man are often ignored despite its beneficial service to those in possession of a superior intellect. The purpose of this discussion is to not only touch upon the negative affects of envy on man, and they are legion, but the power it possesses to motivate man to strive towards a better existence as well as the root mechanisms inherent in the human psyche which manifest said emotion.The negative effect produced by the presence of envy is most pronounced in the man of a lesser intellectual character and the poor who, despite their potential, often fall prey to its devices. As it is, most men fall under these categories, lacking not only the intellectual but the moral understanding of the most effective and satisfying manner in which to gratify their primal needs. It is in these poor wretches that envy takes on its most insidious character, driving men to the depths of moral depredation. In this sort of man instead of utilizing his own means to procure the fulfillment needed to satisfy the urges of the will, he often resorts to nefarious means to thwart his frustrations. As a substitute for industry he turns to the numerous deprivations open to him; gambling, intoxicants, theft, violence, and the sensual pleasures are all that he feels are available to quench the thirst of his will.

I am of the opinion that this is where the perception of envy as sin originates; not in the actual act of envy, but in man’s resultant actions. Men are generally lazy creatures and will often seek the path of least resistance in their drive to fulfill their wants and needs. Therefore in the expedition of life undertaken by every man to stoke this fire within, those who lack that rare balance of will and intellect often succumb to the more easily obtained methods to satisfy their desires. Resulting from his lack of intellect he will often pursue means deemed socially and religiously immoral. While the end result may truly be detrimental to the social order and in the eyes of those who profess to be religious, deemed a sin, the bare emotion of envy is not to be blamed for the despicable action itself. This is a misguided verdict on the part of theologians and moralist of all denominations, as the will to action does not lie at the root of man’s sin. It is the misguided deed, resulting from the absence of the tempering character of the intellect, functioning as a moral guide, which rests as the true source of his corruption. Men predisposed to these means are just as guilty of the sin of ignorance and malice of forethought as they are to any number of condemnations pronounced by the clergy. To blame it on envy alone is to deny that the emotion, or reaction, provoked by envy has no redeeming character in the slightest.

Envy as a Force for Good
What of the morally righteous man? How does envy affect those amongst us who possess a superior intellect enabling him to apply reason and rationality in his quest to satisfy his will? In men of this stripe we remarkably find that envy produces an effect the complete polar opposite as that of the wretch. In the man of intellect we see that envy causes him not to indulge in the ills of society, but instead provides the impetus to increase his production thereby elevating society as a whole. When he encounters others who possess more than he, rather than fall into a state of frustration which leads to anger, he determines to eclipse them through the exertion of his will, combined with intellect, as opposed to succumbing to it. This pursuit in and of it self extinguishes some degree of desire induced by the will for he feel satisfaction in the quest itself, and what desire remains is pleased upon the attainment of his goals. Envy serves as a motivational force in this man as opposed to the destructive or malicious compulsions we observe in the lesser. In the superior man of intellect envy is not a vice, but a virtue, one capable of compelling man to achieve his dreams and in turn elevating the overall plight of society. He depends not upon others to provide the satisfaction his will requires, and instead seeks out methods of his own accord to provide what he needs.

In men of this character the will is balanced against the intellect and both form the complementary elements of a symbiotic relationship. The will thrives as its desires are met and fulfilled while the intellect is free to guide man through his undertakings. Through his pursuit to satisfy his will and its resultant desires he is bound by the tempering effects of the intellect and the moral impetus it places on one’s actions. It is precisely at this point that the differences between the educated man and the man of meager intellectual powers become most evident as it produces a stark difference in the course of action each respectively assume. The intellect serves to modify the behavior of the will through the previously mentioned faculties of reason and rationality, elements sorely missing from those lacking in intellect. It allows him to judiciously evaluate various courses of action and determine the one best suited to soothe the will while holding true to his responsibilities to society as a whole, and his fellow man as individuals. He is bound through the power of the intellect to act in a morally responsible manner while at the same time he is driven to peruse his self interests through a similar approach. Sadly because of the huge disparity in numbers between those who are subject to the woes of envy and those who are amongst the benefactors of its influence, the general tendency is to ascribe to it a negative connotation. In the general sense this could be true, but to do so vanquish the positive effects it often carries and causes the inspiration inherent to its positive character to be ignored.

The Malign Influence of Collectivism
The only excuse that can be made for those present day philosophers and moralists who openly condemn and harangue the virtues of envy rest in the realization that they simply cannot recognize it from within their own ideologically determined frame of reference. To the collectivist envy lies at the heart of all the evils inherent in capitalism, and all those who profess to its positive characteristics must be blinded by their greed and lack of concern for their fellow man. While pointing this crooked finger of accusation squarely at the motivations of the individual the collectivist fails to see the contradiction produced by their faulty logic. All of their actions from inception are the end result of the negative characteristic of envy and its domination over the intellect. The entire premise of the collectivist philosophy, both root and branch, demonstrate for all to see the malignant attributes from which envy, in its unrestrained form, derive its malevolent reputation. Collectivism is simply envy on a political scale for it seeks to right the perceived deficiencies of want on a social level through the immoral act of unjustly confiscating property from the individual and redistributing it across the social strata. Here most assuredly lies the underlying reason envy is held in such contempt by those who have been ordained as today’s great thinkers, as it lays before all free thinking men the hypocrisy of their position.

It too betrays the general powers of the intellect possessed by those who adhere to collectivist philosophies, as it presents the central truth that emotion, chiefly that of envy can easily overwhelm and disarm the powers of the intellect at their disposal. Emotion often trumps the intellect in men of this strip as they often seek to assuage the self imposed guilt resulting from an overindulgence of the will by relying on emotion as a moral compass. The intellect is left to wither on the vine, so to speak, and the will is nourished by any means at their disposal; for its ability to motivate far outweighs what meager resistance its mirror image may still possess. In reality all of their miseries and torments are self inflicted as they neglect any inner yearning or calling to develop the intellect and instead focus on satisfying the primal urges of the will. As a result that mechanism of moral reasoning inherent in the expression of the intellect is absent from the decision-making of the collectivist. Emotion, that spiritual residue exuded by the will, influences every action while rationality and reason, the twin progeny of the intellect, have only marginal influence, if any at all, in the matter.

No Pity for the Poor
It is for this reason that I harbor no pity for the poor in the world today, and in fact hold the vast majority of them in great contempt. The act of neglecting the intellect is reprehensible on various levels, but for the sake of our discussion we must focus on its effect on the motivation of men who suffer from its deficiencies. Please forgive me, but I no longer have the patience to deal with those who wish to remain mired in the lowest depths of the social order. Are there not means available to these people who perpetually contend for the scraps from the table of those of those who contribute to the betterment of our world? This is not to say that I have no compassion for those who are infirmed, whether it be in a mental capacity, those suffering permanent injury to their persons, or those who, now beset by the ravages of old age have fallen into poverty. No, it is not these poor souls of which I am speaking of when I condemn the poor, it is those amongst this division of society who crave not advancement or a better life for themselves but are content to permanently siphon wealth from the upper reaches of the ladder. These dregs are, in my opinion, to be held in the highest form of contempt.

In the lives of the poor the intellect is universally sacrificed at the expense of the impetus of the will. To those who are mired in the depths of poverty the intellect is of no concern for they have been programmed through various nefarious devices that the powers of the intellect are reserved only for those upon whom nature has endowed with a powerful mind and who possess the inherent ability to cultivate it. They all too often fail to understand that they alone possess the ability to strengthen the intellect as the force of their will is all but irresistible. The drive to feed the will becomes all encompassing as its appeasement is artificially achieved through physical pleasures easily obtained in the modern world. They become creatures of their will as it becomes stronger; all the while, through their self imposed distain for any stimuli that might energize the intellect their minds become all the weaker. They, as a social class, suffer from a chronic deficit of self respect and lack the motivation to elevate themselves and develop the means by which they can succeed and contribute to society.

What affliction causes a man to sit for hours on end idly passing the time caring not for what he can contribute to our world and instead expends a tremendous amount of effort into devising new and original ways to defraud the rest of us? Has he no self respect, no drive that motivates him to succeed. The tools are there if he were to only seize them with his own hands and use them in a constructive manner. How sad it must be to lack the basic motivations inherent in the simplest creatures who determine to not provide for themselves and instead depend upon others to provide their basic sustenance. But does the blame rest solely upon their shoulders, or are there more treacherous actions afoot?

Collectivism: The Enemy of the Poor
The argument could be made that those capable of productive contributions to the social order are held bound in their dire circumstances by forces who are content to exploit their misery for political gain. Yes, in a sense the poor are victims, but not of the sort most in positions of power would have you believe. They are victims not of exploitation by the wealthy, but by those of the collectivist mindset who wish to manipulate their suffering into successes at the ballot box. The collectivists are more than willing to talk from both sides of their mouth. One voice cries out for compassion and government sponsored charity, while the other whispers behind the closed doors of the party offices that these people are their path to power and control, and that they must keep them subjugated long enough so that their corpses can line their road power. They promise everything and deliver nothing, again and again, nothing. Strangely enough the poor continue to flock to these charlatans, believing every lie that they are told, despite the fact that they have been told the same thing time and time again, yet they remain in their desperate situation.
Absent are reason and rationality and in their place exist only unfettered envy and hatred for those who possess slightly more than they themselves possess. This represents the most vivid example of the negative characteristics of envy, as it exists within a moral vacuum devoid of the intellect. The poor are not in possession of the tools necessary to reach the realization that they are simply objects by which the collectivist can fashion their misguided utopian delusion. Those in power will never lift a finger to help elevate the poor, either economically or in matters of the intellect, as they are too valuable in the pursuit of their end goal. To break free of the philosophies that hold them in their position of poverty and misery the poor must not only strengthen their intellect but, more importantly, begin to question the basic premise of the collectivist ideology. Without this individual rebellion against what they incorrectly perceive as justice they will forever remain bound in their deplorable state and entertain no possibility of rectifying it.

It is for this reason that the poor deserve contempt. Not out of the sheer fact that they possess no wealth, but because the do not possess the wherewithal to realize a lie when told to them, even more so when told to them multiple times. Blinded by unrestrained envy for those amongst us who produce and consume by the sweat of our brow, they are unwilling to break free from the collectivist chains that bind their minds shut and seek a way other than state sponsored assistance to alleviate their suffering. These poor wicked fools deserve everything that they have, nothing, and despite all of the promises made by their master, that is all that they will ever have. I do not shed a tear for their plight; no I shed a tear for their idiocy and lack of self respect. I pity the poor not because of what they lack but for what they cannot see. Before them lie untold opportunities available to all men in a free society, yet they are unwilling to seize upon them because it is all too easy to sit and wait for the productive members of society to pull them along. They sit and consume promises of equality and wealth if only they continue to despise those who possess more, but theses dreams are never fulfilled. Until these hapless simpletons desist in their self inflicted misery I shall offer no compassion and continue to heap contempt by the score upon their plight.

Breaking the Shackles
It must be made clear to all that while the deficiencies of the intellect that plague the collectivist, and those who they seek to influence, are responsible, to a considerable degree, for the error in their philosophy, it alone can not account for their delusion as a whole. Other factors stemming from their defective epistemology as well as their flawed logic produce any number of foolish assumptions about society and man in general. That being said their deficit in intellect does lie at the root of their affliction and dissatisfaction for it clouds their ontological perspective while at the same time it corrupts their moral understanding of the world in which we live. They are content to live under the cloud of false assumptions and emotionally driven morality and seek no cure for their malady. To the collectivist there exists no deficit of the intellect, for from their perspective they are the sole repository of intellectual thought in the world today. Sadly it is this false premise which prevents them from developing and nurturing the intellect to a degree from which they can construct and implement a sound moral structure that will free them from the shackles of ignorance and deliver them into enlightenment.

Government Sponsored Blackmail

Today marks a grave day in the history of the republic, for it ushers in a new era of despotism unlike any other that has come before. Today, Mr. Obama proclaimed the end of American capitalism as we know it by ordering that any company that is the recipient of funds from the massive government bailout will cap executive compensation at a paltry $500,000 a year. While today these caps are intended solely for the recipients of government assistance is there any doubt that this is just an effort to prep the field so that future restrictions on free enterprise can be implemented? In doing so Mr. Obama now proves that we have an administration that is actively engaging in and encouraging the practice of government sponsored blackmail, plain and simple. This is a form of treachery which until now has resided only in those underdeveloped nations who exist far from our shores, where despotism and fear rule the day and man trembles in the shadow of an all powerful dictator. Obama has now set himself up as arbiter and pay master for any company foolish enough to seek assistance from the federal government, regardless of their abilities and performance. As such he now intends to use your tax dollars, stolen from your wallet on a regularly scheduled basis, for far more nefarious ends than any incompetent corporate executive could ever dream, for once he has set the scale by which a man is rewarded for his ability he in essence becomes its master.

I for one, as did many of you, opposed the government bailout any troubled industry as it represented an anathema to any true capitalist. I proclaimed “Let them fall!” all of them, let the chips fall where they may. But no one listened to our cries, no one dared to read the writing on the wall telling us that government intervention in the market place of any kind was a disaster in the making. We can all see now where intervention of this sort leads. It opens the door to the suppression of freedoms and allows government free reign to overstep its boundaries, as it always does, crushing the individual under the unbearable weight of the collective. Now today we see where it has gotten us. Through begging the government for a handout, a life raft, a bailout, so that we may stay afloat for just a few seconds longer we have arrived at the point where the boot heel of the federal government rests on the throats of numerous companies as it demands that it do as it is told or else face the consequences. Squeezing it ever tighter, cutting off the ability of the company to breath, to function as it sees fit, until eventually it either succumbs to forced nationalization or ceases to exist.

The audacity of this fool headed man to think that he alone can decide the manner in which someone can be compensated for their efforts. It represents the height of arrogance and tyranny. That one could simply supplant his will over the will of others who are more informed of the circumstances surrounding the functioning of these various interests than he. What has Obama ever done to earn a dollar other than lie and obfuscate? Has he ever done an honest days work in his life? No, he has not, and he most likely never will. All this petulant fool has ever done was lecture and agitate the rabble who were ignorant enough to be taken in by his socialist drivel in their collective pursuit to remake this country in their image. Never once has he ever been responsible for making payroll. Never once has he been responsible for seeking out talent in order to increase a company’s ability to more efficiently produce. Never, not once, has Mr. Obama been forced to make the hard decision in which the success and failure of hundreds and thousands of individuals rest in the balance. That is until now, and we can all see what a wonderfully competent job he is doing, stumbling to and fro issuing directives and executive orders and pretending, as a child on the playground would do caught up in a moment of delightful fantasy, that he is God and king, arbiter of all and ruler of everything he surveys.

By single handedly placing a limit on the ability for these corporate executives to be justly rewarded for their successes, or in many cases failures, Obama has effectively denied the ability of these already troubled companies to pull themselves out of their fiscal morass by saddling them with a management team who has no incentive to do anything but fail. What corporate executive worth his salt would be willing to sacrifice everything he has ever achieved in order to work for literally peanuts by order of the federal the government? There is no incentive for these men to succeed, only to spin ones wheels and mark the slow steady digression into bankruptcy and calamity at the merciless hands of the federal bureaucracy. What is to be left for these struggling companies once the most able amongst them realize that they can simply walk out and peruse more lucrative careers with other companies not forced to grovel at Obama’s feet. Will they simply make the most foolish of decisions and destroy themselves for the good of the company in some grotesque demonstration of altruistic sacrifice, or will they simply peruse other means by which they are justly rewarded? There can be no doubt of what course of action they will take. Obama is sealing their fate, whether it be intentional or just some hapless circumstance that he has bumbled into remains the question. What is certain though is that the only ones who stand to gain from this egregious assault on the capitalist system is the federal government, and you can rest assured that with the Liberal Democrats in power it will be exploited for all its worth, at a cost to us all.

The Foxes Are in the Hen House

It is now clearly apparent to any one willing to make an objective assessment of those chosen by Obama to comprise his cabinet that never before has there been a more immoral group of criminals nominated to such lofty posts in our history. Contrary to all of the claims heralding the dawn of an age of responsibility those whom the liberal messiah has chosen to surround himself with represents the typical elitist who dominate the so called progressive movement. This sort double standard is typical operating procedure for this group of scandalous do-nothings whose only pursuit in life would appear to be contriving ways to siphon wealth away from the producers so that they can distribute it amongst the dregs of society in order to garner themselves just one more vote. As they sit ensconced in the robes of authority and influence they imagine that the very laws with which they burden the creator of wealth simply have no meaning for those who occupy such lofty positions. The very people who Obama, in his blind obstinacy, has chosen to enforce the laws of the land are themselves guilty of their most egregious violations, violations which if committed by the average citizen would be met with financial devastation at the hands of the IRS and the sting of the jailers lash.

Once again we are confronted with a contradiction of such colossal proportions that it evokes a cynicism so profound that one is left awestruck by their audaciousness. If it be true - and mind you I don’t for one second grant them the validity they claim for their arguments – that it is a patriotic virtue to allow the powers that be to confiscate, literally at gunpoint, the hard earned capital of the average citizen, then what does that say about those who are now poised to occupy the secretariat of these powerful cabinet positions? By the very standards, upheld and proclaimed by the most powerful voices in the land, these criminals are absent of any virtue and thereby unqualified to hold their positions. Again we have a group of people who in condescending tones preach to us the virtues of paying our “fair share” while they themselves simply neglect, or as they claim “forget”, to bear their share of the burden. They then have the audacity to stand before us and claim that we, the rightful owners of the wealth produced by our very hands, are the ones who are lacking in virtue because we resist when unreasonable demands are placed on our pocketbooks and threaten us with ruin and imprisonment if we continue to resist.

To these ravenous souls, lead astray by a false epistemology of envy and contempt for the creators of wealth, the sole purpose of government is to decide who is to succeed and who is to be penalized for their success. They are the petulant offspring of an order so old that time itself has forgotten that their origin lie tangled amongst the incestuous forebears of the despots and autocrats of old who sought to control wealth and distribute it to those whose influence was necessary to maintain their stranglehold on power, and thus the individual. They are the destroyers of freedom through their consumption of honestly earned wealth, who in the name of fairness have elevated themselves to a position of prominence so powerful that they become the arbiters of success and failure and thereby hold sway over the masses who wish to suckle at the festering teat of government and its allowances. All the while they themselves refuse to strike a lick in order to honestly create even the slightest speck of wealth but exist only to seize yours and miraculously transform it into public consensus that favors their position.

How fraudulent is it for a man, Timothy Geithner, who has openly admitted, under oath before a Senate Confirmation hearing, to neglecting to pay taxes, not for one year, but for several, to be easily confirmed as Treasury Secretary. The very body that has been charged with the confiscation of tax dollars from honest working Americans is now to be headed by someone who is either too stupid to realize that is indebted to the government to pay his “fair share”, or to corrupt to do so. Either way he is unfit to serve as Cabinet Secretary and one must deduce by the ease at which he was confirmed that his actions are either condoned by the Senate and the current Administration or are to be forgiven by such based solely on his favorable standing amongst its members. Whatever the circumstances be they embody the corrupt nature of the politicians currently in office and their blatant flouting of the law in deference to status and power. Any one amongst us who would be guilty of the same crime would be hanged from the gallows and mocked by the media as a greedy capitalist for daring to hold back one red cent of our hard earned wealth from the all consuming hoards. Yet Mr. Geithner, who, guilty as confessed, is free to go about the very business of confiscating more and more wealth from the producers as if his crime were a badge of honor entitling to all the rights, lights, and benefits of unfettered power.

And what of our friend Mr. Daschle, that soft spoken archetype for the compassionate progressive politician, who, for six long years, sought to undermine every pro capitalist piece of legislation that presented itself before the esteemed Senator? It now appears that he too is involved in a case of failing to pay his taxes. Yes it is easy to believe that this dunce could have easily fallen prey to his lack of intellect or become confused by the complexity of the tax code that the average citizen expected to comprehend, but is to be forgiven by the repeated claims to his importance to the administration and nation? He too is a petty criminal who, through influence and pull has sought to simply gloss over his supposed oversight in deference to the well being of the country as a whole, a tactic sure to be exploited through the accompanying cries of “Economic Meltdown” and “Fiscal Crisis”. They expect us to sit like fools in the corner awaiting the final act preformed in that three ring circus they call Washington and, once the curtain falls on our prosperity, they demand that we stand and applaud and call for an encore, which they will most assuredly produce for us – a farce of socialist policies that will chain us to our forsaken brethren for ages to come.

As if all this were not enough today, this very morning, amidst all of the controversy surrounding Geithner and Daschle we learn that Nancy Killefer, chosen as Obama’s “Performance Czar” has tax issues of her own. Again does this not demonstrate perfectly for all of us to see that Obama has neither the judgment nor the mental resources that is required for the office he now holds? His ability to chose people truly qualified for their positions have time and time again proven to be faulty and, in some cases dangerous. Yet no one, but the courageous few are willing to call him on it.

The foxes are now in the hen house, and there are precious few to stop them before their deed is done. They have crept in under the cover of darkness and, with fangs bare, sought out the golden goose in order to devour it in the name of fairness. Their lips stained by the blood of justice and virtue in order to quench their desire for the collective good.
Once their endeavor is done and the source of all prosperity lies dead before them where will they turn in order to satisfy their blood lust? Once they have destroyed all prosperity in the pursuit of universal fairness will they cease they destructiveness or will the not rest and drive the nation into further collapse and turmoil.

Today marks the 104th anniversary of the birth of Ayn Rand, one of the great minds of Twentieth Century thought. Most notable for her works of fiction, such as We the Living, Anthem, The Fountainhead, and her magnus opus Atlas Shrugged, her contribution to the subject of personal freedom and the defense of capitalism are not be overlooked. While her works of fiction encapsulated her personal philosophy it is in her works of nonfiction we find her greatest contributions to the philosophical doctrine of Objectivism, which will forever remain her crowning achievement. Although never truly accepted by the academic philosophers her work in this field remains the single most original and influential philosophical work of the past century.

In celebration of her contributions to individual freedoms and the never ending defense and promotion of capitalism The Hostile Opposition would like to wish Ayn a happy birthday!

Mr. President, Shut the Hell Up!

Less than two weeks into the current administration I, for one, would wish this little man Obama would shut his mouth. For all of the supposed eloquence possessed by this fool, he has yet to say anything constructive. It is one thing to state the truth – I am all in favor of stating things as they are – but to constantly spew forth a string of negative remarks, espousing nothing but the worst aspects of our current economic calamity, is nothing but counter productive. When one is in possession of an instrument as capable of molding public sentiment as the bully pulpit the responsibility to elevate and uplift are paramount, especially considering our present state of affairs. This is not to say that one should engage in falsifying the circumstances, for that would be the height of blind irresponsibility, but one of his primary responsibilities is to uplift the population and provide hope to those in dire circumstances. Despite all of laudatory commentary concerning his rhetorical abilities on the campaign trail, as of yet he has been nothing more than a prophet of doom and gloom.

The primary responsibility of the office of the President of the United States is to lead the public through the circumstances we collectively face. The only direction that Obama seems to be capable of leading us is into the abyss of economic collapse. Time and time again, since the beginning of the presidential campaign two long years ago, Obama has done nothing more than talk down the economy in an attempt to dupe the American public in his pursuit of the highest office in the land. This proved so successful that he has continued to spread fear and panic across the land and casting a pall over the collective psyche of the nation.

One must beg the question as to what end does this negativity serve the current occupier of the oval office? His pessimistic rhetoric can only lead to further economic despair and drive us further into recession and possibly into a full blown depression. The only conclusion that one can reach is that his intentions are to deflate the natural optimism of the American people to the point that they become so frightened that they are willing to accept any solution to our current plight. Sadly the only solution that these socialist in power offer is the largest expansion of government spending in the 233 year history of the republic. No mention of broad based tax cuts that actually hold the potential to stimulate the economy, no mention of the latent power possessed by the American people to rescue us from the void, no, only fear and the promise that the all powerful government will be there to pick up the peaces and put them back together as they see fit.

That is their intentions. To bring the people to their knees so that they may beg for salvation from the very institutions that have wrought such destruction. They feel that the resistance to their socialist agenda still possesses some vitality, and that it must be crushed before that can proceed unfettered by the sentiments of the people. Their goal is to saddle us with a government so powerful that it controls our every action, and to do so, the will of the people must first be broken. The only way that they can do so is to drive the economy to the lowest depths so that they may rebuild it in their own image. There is no compassion for the suffering amongst us, only contempt for those who stand in their way, willing to sacrifice everything that they have earned and struggled throughout their life. They seek to break or will, and we must not allow them to do so.

Some may call me a conspiracy theorist, and, if one is considered such if he is willing to call out those manipulators of public opinion in order that they may force their despotic agenda down the throats of the American people, then I am such a creature. The writing is on the wall for everyone to see, if only they remove the blindfold of lies and distortions from their eyes. To them I ask this question: Who is more virtuous, those who are willing to destroy the livelihoods of millions of families and force them into the deprivations of poverty and strife, or the one who is willing to call a spade a spade and stand up against this onslaught of negativity and pessimism that has become so pervasive in today’s discourse.

Obama needs to stand up and lead. Something he has thus far proven incapable of doing, unless of course his mission is to lead millions of uninformed, simple minded tools to the ballot box in order to cast their vote for a product of the manipulative mass media. He thus far has been able to inspire no one with his pessimism except for his legion of uneducated and unproductive masses, who only serve to drain capital away from those who actually have a stake in the economic future of the nation.

The Dictatorship of the Sophist

Since assuming power on week ago Barak Obama has pressed full steam ahead in instituting his radically liberal agenda. Seizing upon his constitutionally granted authority to issue Executive Orders he has wasted no time in forcing through measures that would have had no chance in standing against the scrutiny of public opinion. Never before in the history of the republic has an executive been so eager in implementing his radical agenda that he has resorted to what amounts to despotic means. Refusing to even let the seat occupied by his predecessor cool he has sought to institute sweeping changes to the national security apparatus that has succeeded in protecting American lives, launched a renewal of the states sponsorship of the slaughterhouses of the international abortion industry, as well as undermining what precious little remains of the nation’s once prosperous auto industry. These dictates clearly display the underlying motivational force that compels this simpleton and, contrary to the opinions of the masses duped by his turn of phrase, they are not the betterment of society. What compels this man who now holds the reigns that direct the course of this nation is his pure, unadulterated, socialist ideology.

Making good on his fool hearty campaign promise to close the Guantanamo Bay detention facility that currently houses some of the world’s most dangerous terrorists, Obama has, in one stroke of the pen, signaled to all of our enemies that he, as well as the movement he leads, has not the stomach to prosecute the War on Terror. In a blatant demonstration of his cowardice he has handed a victory to all of those who seek our destruction by signaling that he would rather wage this struggle in the cozy surroundings of the court room instead of the bloody killing fields of Afghanistan and Iraq. In the eyes of someone so blindly obedient to the code of conduct prescribed by the collectivist philosophy as he, his compassion and understanding of the motivations of these barbarous murderers would be infinitely more effective in their drive to destroy the west and everything it stands for. How foolish and dangerous is the paradigm of moral relevancy that it has clouded Obama’s mind to the point that political correctness has become the preferred weapon wielded against our enemies as opposed to the only thing the Islamists understand, the cold steel of the sword.

What are we now to do with this villainous rabble that we currently house in the tropical paradise that is Guantanamo? Perhaps we could detain them in Obama’s old neighborhood of Hyde Park so that they may spend their days sitting aimless in Nichols Park swapping tales of their terrorist exploits with that harmless former terrorist and educational philosopher who holds the ear of the president, William Ayres. Or perhaps he could detain them in some quaint halfway house in San Francisco, a city so openly compassionate and welcoming that they would surely accept a few blood thirsty, slightly damp, savages who have been brutally interrogated at the hands of George Bush and Dick Cheney. That is unless they oppose homosexual marriage, in which case they would be castigated as “Jesus-freaks” and run out of the city after having their income heavily taxed and their homes seized in order that it be used as a swingers club. Perhaps Obama will set these poor hapless souls free to return to the caves of Afghanistan and the deserts of Iraq so that they, like so many of their predecessors, may once again resume the struggle against the tyrannical hegemony of the United States government. Rest assured that the ultimate resting place for the latest shipment of illegal aliens comfortably housed at the behest of the US tax payer will undoubtedly be is a Red State, perhaps your very own, that has been conveniently chosen as some sort of retribution for opposition to the policies of our dear leader.

Obama’s Executive Order to once again resume the federal funding of international abortion clinics represents nothing more than a manifestation of the collectivist distain for the sanctity of human life. In their eyes the unborn represent nothing more than a burden to society to be discarded at the whim of the careless mother. Nancy Pelosi herself recently stated that birth control, a liberal codeword for tax payer funded abortions, would be beneficial to the US economy. This repulsive statement, while abhorrent to those who deeply value importance of the unborn, represents the common manner of thinking to those who see no value in the individual and whose only concern rests with the overall wellbeing of the collective. To Obama and his ilk the vicious practice of abortion is preferred to the glorious pursuit of raising a child whether it be planned or not. Life to the collectivist is deemed worthy only if it does not place an undue strain on the members of the collective body, otherwise it should be destroyed before its latent talents can be discovered. Instead of punishing those who abuse nature’s greatest gift to a man and a woman, they seek to destroy in its infancy the unfortunate product of their transgression. This action does not represent the dawning of the era of responsibility as often touted by our sophist-in-chief, it represents the return to an era of irrational exuberance in which the US taxpayer and the unborn are stuck with the bill while the irresponsible around the world are free to continue to drain the our coffers at their will.

The decision to allow states to independently set automobile emission and café standards that regulate the mile per gallon fuel consumption of new vehicles at first glance might seem favorable to the federalist amongst us. One might think that this would allow the selected 18 states the freedom to protect their own environment in a manner endorsed by the voters of said state. Nothing could be farther from the truth, for in reality what it does is allow Obama to institute tighter regulations on the presently ailing auto industry without congressional approval. He has placed the fate of America’s most important industry in the hands of those who have sought to destroy what they view as a threat to the environment and therefore a threat to the entire planet. By allowing radically environmental state legislatures, including the most radical of all, California, he has further complicated the efforts of America’s auto manufactures to become economically viable once again. When the nation’s largest purchaser of automobiles, California, arbitrarily raise their emission and café standards manufactures will have no choice but to institute the new regulations across their entire product line. This increases the cost of all vehicles produced by these manufacturers resulting in greater difficulty in competing against foreign competitors as well as reduced numbers of units sold.

This decision was nothing more than a sop to the environmentalist upon whose shoulders Obama rode into the Oval Office. Expect more and more decisions of this type as the influence exerted by these practitioners of faulty science becomes exerted to a greater and greater degree. This is what is to be expected for Obama and these fools clad in their hemp trousers and Birkenstocks are cut from the same socialist cloth. These socialist swine have sought to undermine the manufacturing base of the US since they stumbled upon the notion that they could use environmentalism as a bludgeon to browbeat those who actually produce something for society’s betterment. Their only goal is to punish these captains of industry so as to reduce them to the level of the proletariat and exploit their wealth by squandering it on redistributionist policies. In their eyes America is the perpetrator of the ultimate crime of environmental abuse and as a result its wealth must be confiscated by what ever means necessary, including bankruptcy and depression, so that those backward nations who have been struggling to develop for millennia can finally have a chance to succeed. We are to bear the burden for their incompetence, and environmental extremism is simply a means to that end, with the assault on the nation’s auto manufacturers being but the next logical step.

Make no mistake these are but the beginnings of an attack on the basic tenants of representative government. Any chance that this tyrant in the making sees in which he can institute his collectivist philosophy while subverting the legislative process he is sure to seize. His arrogance and hubris are unbounded and even encouraged by those who march in lock step behind the one who has promised them deliverance from their self inflicted suffering, even if it is at the expense of their own personal freedoms and prosperity. He has no use for the institutions upon which the republic rests for he has been ordained as immaculate by the masses and as such he must press forward, without the faintest doubts in his own supremacy, with his far-reaching agenda that, if successful, will herald the dawn of the latest promise of a socialist utopia.

Pure Hate

The cloth from which a man is cut can be determined in many ways; one can examine his worth to society by analysis of his products and thereby his contribution to its elevation or one may evaluate the overall happiness he tends to exude and generate a favorable unfavorable opinion. The methods of analysis are endless and vary greatly in degrees of accuracy. That being said, if one wants to truly evaluate a man in order to conclude his innermost workings the deduction is best conducted during heights of celebration. Here, when his is most confident of himself, feasting on the magnificence of personal ecstasy, he betrays his true feelings and lays bare for all to see, his true self. He, for that one instance, compelled by a blend of certainty and self righteousness, miscalculates and removes the well constructed mask that has hidden his authentic self. When he does so he is at his most vulnerable for he can be examined as if one were to arrive at the core of his discovery, the entire interior defect of his composition being revealed before the very eye. All of his hypocrisy and unsavory traits are allowed to materialize as his arrogance blinds his better judgment and exposes the man as he is unto himself. The man as he is when he is left alone to postulate and act out his personal philosophy in the absence of the critical eye of others, alone in the sovereignty of his personal solitude. It is he who is manifest while man is attaining his heights, and it is he who must be examined in order to determine a man’s true nature.

Through the application of this method of analysis to those in attendance at the inauguration of President Obama one is able to look past the carefully constructed facade and determine the ultimate motivation of these people. Here we see the depravity of the collectivist mindset on full display to anyone who is willing to take an objective look. Their actions betray any semblance of civility that their masters have sought to portray in order to convince the politically naïve of their altruistic intentions, and has made known that their ultimate motivating force is pure hate. Throughout the past eight years many of us on the right have pointed to their contemptuous actions time and time again, yet the sentiments typified by the actions of groups like MoveOn.org and Code Pink were treated as anomalies instead of the pervading attitudes that they were. This notion was destroyed, there on the national mall in full sight of everyone to see, as they demonstrated that the hatred once ascribed to the far left is present in the rank and file of the Democratic Party.

How grotesque these individuals are for they lack the ability to express any semblance of gratitude for a leader who has protected them and their families for the past seven years. Instead of respectfully honoring for someone who, faced with the greatest threat since the rise of the Axis powers, rose to the occasion and protected us all from our enemies, they chose to engage in the infantile practice of cat calling and jeering? What kind of man dishonors the most powerful and austere office in the land when at last the time arrives to transfer power peacefully and respectfully, they chose to curse the one who has given so much and laude one whose potential to protect and defend fall well short of the need? The only rational response is to arrive at the conclusion that these people have been blinded by hate; a hate that has simmered since the 2000 election and had become concentrated in the disagreements surrounding the invasion of Iraq. Their hatred for outgoing President Bush has motivated their every decision and compelled them to cast their vote for this sham of a messiah Obama. It has clouded their minds to the point to where any rational thought has ceased to take shape in their perverted minds and all that remains is a burning hatred for anything that might resemble the figure of their ire. Their hate has been regimented in the school systems and across the entire media apparatus, and yet they have the audacity to point to us and claim that we are the one who hold a monopoly on hatred and contempt. The hypocrisy is maddening beyond comprehension.

Now that President Bush has departed and silently awaits histories judgment the question begs us; who will they hate now? Now that the focus of all their rage and odium no longer occupies a position of power, who will they chose to fill the vacuum and become the object of their loathing? The answer is simple, it is you and I. Now that they have had their egos stoked through the recent electoral victory, achieved through deception and distortion I might add, they have set their sights on all of us. We are now the object to which all of their hatred will be focused, the individual who opposes the will or their savior runs the risk of being persecuted and demonized to the point to where is may just as well be a crime to be a free thinker. The will seek to muzzle our voices through Stalinist measures such as the woefully misnamed “Fairness Doctrine” and shame our ideology through vicious attacks launched by their venomous allies in the media. They will seek to make our philosophy criminal through various legislative means such as “Hate Crime” bills in order to drive “conservatism” underground.

We are all under assault, every man woman and child who profess to adhere to the original intent of the founders and express a faith in the individual are now fair game for this wicked conglomeration of gangsters and criminals who now hold the reigns of power. They will seek undermine our philosophy of freedom through individual responsibilities and replace it with a collectivist dystopia that enslaves all and subjects us all to the will of their messiah. Their hate, once held in check by their desire mislead the body politic and thereby seize power legitimately, will be let loose to ravage and alter the very nation that we have sacrificed so much to preserve.

Therefore we must resolve ourselves to weather the onslaught launched by out enemies in defense of not only the original intent of the founders, but to guard the very rights bestowed upon us all by our creator. We are the last line of defense against the hoards that willingly throw themselves against our lines in hopes of breaking them. Let me declare, this line will hold. Against any assault we must defend ourselves by being prepared to strike back against the philosophy that holds the potential to sentence mankind to centuries of damnation. We have many weapons at our disposal, rationality, reason, intellect, and the faith we possess in the truth and righteousness of our cause. We are now the politically damned. Thankfully we possess the will and the strength to overcome their hatred though our deeds and actions.

Everything written here to fore concerning the Obama administration is prelude. All that is to follow shall, to the future generations of free thinkers, be but pieces, that, when assembled, will collectively comprise a narrative of what is to be our protracted national suffering. From this day forward the steady creep towards collectivism and away from freedom shall increase in its already steady pace as all of the liberties we hold sacred fall under assault from our adversaries who are now in power. Make no mistake; this group of swindlers and liars will use all means at their disposal to wage war not against our mortal enemies, who from their perverted vantage point are of our own making, but against the very freedoms that have traditionally defined our republic.

Today as the estimated millions stand in below freezing temperatures to obediently bask in the dim glow of their savior and partake in what they perceive as history we, the many that still cherish liberty and freedoms, stand in bewilderment and disgust. It is no mystery as to how this paltry fool ascended to power, by exploitation of the masses through pledges of unity and promises altruistic sacrifice in the name of the collective anyone, regardless of merit, could manipulate this brainless rabble. Despite the obvious we shake our heads in astonishment as to how we arrived at the point to where individual freedom counts for so little amongst so many. They march in lock step to the steady drumbeat of collective action, willingly accepting the chains that will forever bind them to the abilities of their brethren and forever seperate them from their own. The individual is of no concern to their movement, only the collective good through the sacrifice of the sentient being.

What are we to make of the cult of personality that has developed around this false god that they have foisted upon us? This phenomenon should strike every objective observer as not only disturbing but as presenting a danger never before encountered in the history of the nation. Within this following we find elements of hero worship unbecoming of a free country; the weeping, the adulation, and the blind obedience displayed by these fools who have willingly accepted everything promised to them despite the absence of a record of performance from the bronze idol they now bow before. Everything they believe is based on raw emotion; that sinister force capable of corrupting the intellect unlike no other known to man, projected from within upon an empty vessel contrived to contain the universal hopes of the self proclaimed oppressed. How irrational they appear to the individualist who chooses to rely on his own ability to transform his life and create his own destiny instead of heaping platitudes and false optimism on this messianic rube. I for one will not allow myself to be played for the fool, and shall instead stand in open defiance and opposition to everything the pretend to stand for.

The media are besides themselves in their glee and self righteousness as before them they see the culmination of everything they have fought for and dreamed of since the head days of the philosophical and moral morass of the 1960’s. Obama is a creation entirely of their own making, contrived through the emotional suffering and a desire to right a perceived wrong inherent in the ideology of their only religion, political correctness. Disregarding every danger Obama and his promises of redemption through socialism pose to the republic they proclaim a new dawn for the American nation, ignoring the sun as it sets, obscured by the storm clouds of collectivism gathering on the horizon. Their only desire is to create an event that they can proclaim as historic, but does not the significance of an event lacking any organic origin and relying only on the contrivances and manipulations of a corrupt institution become history by sheer proclamation? Nay, history writs its own dialogue to be followed to the letter by the actors on its stage, all of who are all subject to its drama and revelation. The media are quick to revel in their own glory and overlook the rabid dogs that they have set loose to maim and destroy the very freedoms that enshrine their revolting profession. The burden of what they have wrought, while not self evident today, shall be born out by that final arbiter, history, and rest assured, he is the cruelest of judges for while his verdict is sometimes cruel it is always just.

While today the freedoms of the individual are placed squarely of the executioners block hope is not lost, for the axe has yet to fall. The most potent tool available to us remains at our disposal and that is ourselves. Together we represent the greatest motivational force bestowed by God upon man, his will to resist injustice and the desire to strive for freedom, and I implore each and every one of you to take up this mantle and go forward with courage and determination. Our freedoms, while conferred by God, are guaranteed by the efforts of our own makings and to sit idly by and watch as the vermin who now have the latent power of this great nation firmly within their corrupt grasp squeeze every drop on liberty from its being, is representative of a sin on all mankind. We must rely on the purity of our cause and the justice of its pursuit. There remains hope, but not the false hopes of a corrupt messianic figure whose only qualification is eloquence and the turn of a phrase. No, our hope rests on the power of mankind to achieve his goals through his own efforts, a hope guaranteed to us by our creator, and that my friends is a hope that shall never suffer the fate as the hope professed by those collectivist fools.

The Narcissism of the Freak

Often while we are engaged in our daily business we are jolted from the concentration devoted to our task by that curious species of human, the freak. There they are, presented before you in all of their grotesque spectacle assuming any manner of guises; those who exist for mere shock value bedecked in metal studs placed strategically about the face and body to elicit the most exaggerated of responses from passers by; the renegade hipster who deals liberally in profanities and arcane dress while refusing to shower out of a self proclaimed respect for his mother Earth; the village idiot who uses his body as a sounding board for any two-bit, so called, artist who is in possession of a scrap of wire and a bottle of India ink covered by failed attempts at adroit expression. Their sole objective in life is to shock, to offend, those who they view as members of accepted and traditional social groups, in hopes that they will stand apart from the rest of their fellow men and as such they will be remembered. It must be stated that the overwhelming majority, if not the entire population, of these self inflicted social outcasts adhere to the failed collectivist ideologies as if it were a religion of sorts, and that their overt attempts at invoking shock is a form of uniform worn by this sorry lot. When prodded as to the impetus of their dress or adornments they are quick to cite the expression of their individualism and a distain for accepted social norms as their source of motivation, feeling quite proud in their ability to stand apart from you and me. They then turn to the other members of their sloven tribe and heap criticism on you, your supposed shallowness, and you inability to see true art as such. To them you are the rube, the fool, the caricature of everything they have sought to rebel against their whole miserable existence. This desire to express their individualism is a direct result from the suffocating effect of their self imposed collectivism and produces a stroke of irony that leaves one shocked and startled by its nakedness.

This compulsion to claim an individual identity is the direct outward manifestation of the end product the collectivist mindset produces through the emotional pressure excreted on the human psyche. As man is susceptible to the forces of his intellect and his will, he is driven to carve out his own niche through the social interactions conducted between members of his circle of friends and associates, both intimate and casual, as well as indirect. In the instance where one is constrained through the inherent limitations placed upon the psyche by collectivist philosophies, in which one is simply a solitary member of a greater whole, the desire to fulfill this latent individualism seeks the path of least resistance. Often this results in the individual seeking to shock or repulse other members of the social construct by rebelling against the accepted social norms in order to garner that ever so small sliver of attention they need in order to satisfy their will through the recognition of their individualism. The desire to exert ones individualism becomes all the greater when one becomes attached to like minded individuals striving to exert their own identity. The result is often a compulsion to rebel to an even further extent as he, as well as the members of his circle of friends, becomes desensitized to the relative volume of their rebellious dress and adornments.

This phenomenon can be observed directly through a visit to the various haunts frequented by members of the so called “art community” and their lackeys seeking to emulate their mannerisms in hopes of being viewed as intellectual or “cutting edge”. These sorry few who long for nothing more than a few awkward glances from those who hold traditional values and mores sacred often congregate in great numbers in places deemed cool by the more experienced members of their clan, often in the absence of simple hygiene and sanitation. Here we witness a competition of sorts as they each vie to one up the other in hopes of becoming viewed as the most outrageous among the outrageous. This habitually involves the most extreme examples of self mutilation and physical deformation one can imagine as they each seek to exert their will through artificial means as true competition amongst other men within their social construct, to them, has become an anathema. How they do revel with each new flechette they proudly affix to their face and head as if they had achieved their ultimate goal of forced devolution into the new world of the collectivist savage. Each step towards some form of otherworldly grotesqueness becomes a badge of honor worn as though they were proud members of a hunting party returning from the wilderness with a fresh catch in hand to share the fruits of their hard fought labor with their fellow savages. How sad and petty they have become as their only outlet for their latent individualism has become self mutilation, macabre dress, and physical disfigurement.

But this is what is to be expected when one become so engrossed in the drive for a personal identity when one is confined by the restrictions of a collectivist ideology. Though they openly proclaim to abhor traditional social patterns and norms, they do so out of the realization that everything they proclaim and hold true is a sham open to simple psychological and philosophical deconstruction. Contrary to their lofty self image they are fools and simpletons for placing so much intellectual and psychological capital into such a corrupt and destructive worldview. Even if one were to attempt to put in plain words all of the obvious contradictions and paradoxes encountered by their actions one could not proceed one inch towards convincing them of the underlying errors in their philosophy for they so deeply believe in its absolute truth as to label all contradicting ideas as lies. Sadly this is their state, and nothing shall convince them of the fallacy of their thinking, as we, as the true free thinking free men, are relegated to simply tolerate their vulgar actions and bear their stupidity until then end of our days.

The Purpose Driven Hypocrite

Preface:
As I am sure that this piece may induce fits of anger from some of my regular readers, for it touches on the always delicate topic of religion, I feel it necessary to say a few preemptive words in my defense. I am not here to discuss religious doctrine or to validate one man’s religious practices over another; I am here to discuss things as they exist in the material world of politics and social constructs. To delve into the spiritual realm and cast pronouncements on salvation and the methods by which it is achieved is beyond my God given ability, for that responsibility lies within God himself and no man should lay claim to that right. A man’s religion lies in his heart and since no one can claim to know the true nature of his beliefs, no man can begin to evaluate them. What I intend to do is discuss the hypocrisy on display when someone, in this case Mr. Warren, betrays his publically stated beliefs through the celebration of those who openly disparage and ridicule him as they ascend to power. With that being said I strongly encourage my readers to continue this discussion in the comments section and express their approach to the afore mentioned topic.

The idea that President Elect Obama would select Pastor Rick Warren to speak at his January 20th inauguration should take no one by surprise. Obama is after all in the continuing process of defrauding the public by portraying himself as some sort of moderate centrist, something which his history, what little there is, clearly contradicts. Through the selection of Pastor Warren he is simply pandering to the evangelical segment of the Republican base in a vain attempt to curry their favor and make it appear as though he is one of them. Clearly he couldn’t select one of those vile proliferators of racial hatred and perverted theology such as Jeremiah Wright of Father Flager as it would only serve to confirm the allegations made by his opponents on the right and reveal to all his ability to obfuscate and deceive. This is all to be expected from someone who has expended so much effort into manufacturing a marketable image that would be appealing to the average citizen, he is simply doing what all corrupt politicians do; lie about who he is and what he stands for. While Obama deserves scorn for the deceptive practice in which he is engaged, the true contempt should be directed at Pastor Warren for being manipulated into selling out his religion and beliefs for a few fleeting moments on the world stage.

Reputable men often fall prey to the temptation to stoke the fires of the ego through the participation in what they perceive as a historically significant event. Regardless of the nature of the event they are compelled by that inner driving force to abandon all principle in order to be on the stage at a moment when the whole world is focused on that one particular event. Either all convictions are abandoned or some mental contrivance is constructed in order to nullify the here to for existent moral constraints that should preclude their participation in an event honoring someone who contradicts everything they have stood for and fought against their entire careers. This is a loathsome scheme they have developed within their mind in order to rationalize their hypocrisy. Their motivation is nothing more that self aggrandizement and pure unrestrained vanity, those vicious beasts who have proven time and time again to be the downfall of many who claim to have a moral foundation. These men are despicable for they abandon everything, their beliefs, their world view, and in the case of Mr. Warren, their congregation, in the vain attempt to be recognized amongst what they feel are the powerful and influential. To those who fall prey to these temptations everything appears to have lost importance in that moment of egoistic ecstasy as they bask in the diffused radiance that lies at the edge of the spotlight. In that one single moment they are in their earthly glory and all else melts in to nothingness for at last they have achieved greatness through the achievements of other men.

One is presented with the feeling that Mr. Warren is just such an opportunist feeding on the self glorification produce by Obama and his sycophants. He too falls in that category of men who, as I spoke of in my December 17th essay, harbors no ideological fortitude that would enable him to ignore the urge to compromise his beliefs by honoring such a scurrilous man as Obama. Has he not fought for the rights of the unborn for years and now abandons all his efforts for the chance to lay the wreath at the feet of the anointed one? Has he not fought against the steady encroachment of the homosexual agenda on the moral fabric of this nation? Yes Mr. Warren has in the past displayed a penchant for liberal economic policies in hopes of relieving the sufferings of the poor (a view both foolish and misguided I might add) but to honor someone who so ardently promotes the abhorrent practice of abortion and has worked tirelessly to promote its protection is a open and blatant display of hypocrisy. It would appear that Mr. Warren is playing us all for the fool, as he engages in the age old game of speaking from both sides of his mouth in hopes that no one will be wise enough to dissect his charade. Through his participation in Obama’s inauguration Mr. Warren is not only sanctioning the policies Obama promotes but bestowing a form of divine ordination on them as well. In his capacity as a religious leader respected amongst the Evangelical community he possesses the ability to influence a great number of his parishioners. Therefore through this endorsement he runs the risk of leading a great number of people astray by appearing to lessen the degree of importance attached to such core values as the right to life, traditional morality, and private property.

Mr. Warren now appears as nothing more than a simple opportunist willing to sell out his beliefs for a few moments in the radiant glow of the collectivist’s political messiah. He has finally revealed himself for what he truly is, and sadly it is not who he has promoted himself to be all theses years. Perhaps he will take this opportunity to castigate Obama for his planned assault on the moral fabric of this country and say a few words to encourage all of us who feel as though these principals are in danger of being abandoned. Perhaps, but it is highly unlikely for Mr. Warren has displayed time and time again that to him, acceptance by our enemies is more important than challenging them head on.

The Enemy Within: Run The RINOs out!

We are engaged in an epic struggle for the future of man kind in which the forces arrayed against us will employ any means necessary, no matter how underhanded or fraudulent they may be, in order to destroy capitalism and subject man to the will of his brothers. Although men of a liberated intellect are perceptive to this struggle those amongst us who possess not the capacity to recognize a threat when presented before him are more than willing to play the part of the useful idiot in order to line their pockets or maintain their tenuous grip on power. One might be lead to believe that these addle headed fools are confined to the Democratic Party or some other equally despicable political organization, and while it is true for the majority of them, as men of a like intellect tend to gravitate towards one another through the coercive bonds of a shared ideology, what must be understood is that there is a faction of the enemy that exists within the Republican Party as well. While it is the belligerent across the aisle that presents the gravest threat to the natural order, and thus the freedoms encapsulated within, it is the enemy within our own party that represents an immediate threat to the movement, and as a result, our ability to protect the capitalist system itself.

Oh how these traitorous vermin are to be loathed; for which is the more honorable, those who practice the false gospel to which they confess, or the scoundrel who sacrifices man’s freedom at their altar while professing to be an apostate? That is not to say that any amongst this rabble possess any scrap of honor as they possess none; but those who claim to be part of our movement while condoning and encouraging policies that promote the objectives of our adversary display not only a lack of honor but a cowardice that nauseates the soul. Their only motivation is that of unethical greed, one that lacks any moral foundation leading to its corruption through duplicitous actions. It is to these men we must look when attempting to discern the causation for our most recent electoral failures, and it is with these men that blame rests for the subversion of the freedoms of all men.

Courage and fortitude is what these men lack; possessing no bearings save for that which extends their own power and glorifies their petty accomplishments in the eyes of their brethren of the left. It is from this same cloth from which our most recent presidential candidate was cut. Striving to placate everyone, except of course those of us who confess to the righteousness of capitalism and freedom, he was all to willing to forfeit the ideology of his political base for political expediency. This will not do as everyone, especially the enlightened few among us, were able to see through this charade and see this poor little man as the opportunist he was, and remains to this day. Never once did he stand up for what WE believe in, never did he attack those who have sought to do so much harm to all that in which we believe, always striving to take the “high road”. With all of the rhetorical, philosophical, and ideological ammunition at his disposal he should have been able to easily dissemble this rube from Chicago. Instead he chose the “high road” which inevitably lead us, the party, and the movement to its current state of political irrelevancy. Throughout his career he has sought to placate our adversaries on the left and curry favor amongst the liberal media establishment, all at the expense of our freedoms. And what did he get? His reward was constant barrage of vicious attacks and lies told day after day; only a fool would expect anything less.

McCain’s failings are indicative of the liberal who chooses to portray himself as a conservative. Those who seek to lead must do just that and not have their opinions and actions polluted by the desire to be liked and loved by the very people who seek their demise. Only a fool would think otherwise and sadly that is exactly what the senior Senator from Arizona proved himself to be. To believe for one fleeting moment that the reprobates who comprise the Main Stream Media would show any civility, never mind respect, towards anyone who opposes their chosen candidate demonstrates a naïveté that is beyond reproach and causes one to question his sanity.

Therefore we must set about to learn the lessons of this past election well, as they present themselves clearly for anyone willing to take an objective look. We must run this rabble out of the party, root and branch, and throw them to the wolves to which they pay more allegiance than the party to whom they belong. Is it not better to spend years in the political wilderness than to suffer these fools for one minute longer? Their very presence in this movement demoralize the rank and file and threatens to tear apart everything that we have fought so long and suffered so much to accomplish. Cast them out and offer them no quarter as they have for so long offered you neither comfort or inspiration while ignoring your desires and demands. These cowards must not be allowed to besmirch the movement that claims to be the progeny of such great thinkers and leaders as Regan, Hayek, Thatcher, and Rand. They are not fit to sweep the walk before our heroes and merit only contempt and scorn for all of the damage that they have brought forth. We must force them out for if they remain we shall only become a mirror upon which our adversaries may gaze to only admire their own relfection.

The Nature of The Leftist Politician

The actions of Illinois Governor Blagojevich provide anyone willing to take an objective look with all the evidence one needs to indict, and convict, not just this irrational perpetrator but the entire leftist movement, of crimes against the republic. For so long they have held our institutions in contempt, and through the process of working against it, they have sought to enrich themselves through nefarious means. Their lust, both monetary and political, reflects their distain for the voter and serves to highlight the absence of any ethical and moral compass to set true their course through life. Where as a capitalist will channel his greed into a motivating force in order to attain wealth through ethical means, the unprincipled politician acts without the moral impetus to guide his actions and in turn does damage to not only his already tarnished reputation but to the political institution as a whole. Breeding apathy and cynicism their actions lie at the heart of the malady that aggravate the health of the national discourse. There is no greater scourge on earth than the politician who lacks the ethical consideration for those to whom he is bound to serve or the body of which he is a member.

This species of politician is amongst the lowliest of nature’s creatures. When comparing these dregs of society against that of any member of the reptile family, one can not but be left with the feeling of compassion and warmth towards the latter and sheer repulsion to the former. Though the reptile may appear course and foul to the eye the corrupt politician strikes one as such to the intellect, leaving one with the most egregious feeling of being swindled by their appointment. A serpent can only kill through the injection of its venom, with the comparatively rapid onset of death, where as a politician kills through many means, though it most often occurs through slavery, and its effect often taking a lifetime of suffering to complete the task.

To the leftist politician their fellow man is nothing more that an implement to be abused in their quest for power. Very seldom do we encounter one who harbors any actual concern for the protection of the liberties essential to protect the free man. Nay, their position almost always runs contrary to that end, with every stroke of their pen freedoms are stripped away little by little, in hopes that we will not perceive the threat. While he pronounces faith in the institutions he is bound to protect and defend, his actions betray his disdain for individual freedom and liberty. Never do we see our adversaries engaged in any task that may be deemed to promote liberty or freedom of the will. Although they cloak their actions in deceptive terms such as “freedom of choice” or “freedom from want”, those of us who are not blinded their cunning turn of phrase recognize their lies when told.

The very nature of the leftist politician, when viewed from an objective vantage point, causes one to recoil in disgust. Their smarmy attitudes dripping with condescension and ire as the address their constituents as if they were too dull to recognize the lies they spew forth. They care not for you or I, or for the welfare of the republic, but care only for themselves. Their narcissism is repugnant and poisons every thing they touch as if they were some diabolic Midas spreading petulance throughout the body politic and feasting on its fetid remains. On how the merit every ounce of spite which all free men heap upon their names and curses hurled at the mothers which brought them forth into this world. They deserve no admiration or adulation for they are the smiths who forge our chains, blackened to the core by the damnable fires of corruption and self-indulgence.

Nothing sounds quite like the noise made by those who are perceived to be divine as they crash to earth with a reverberating thud; the sound resonates all the more when those they believe to be a god are revealed to be mere mortal. All false gods must endure the day when, in front of the entire world, they are forced either through malice or some fault of their own to exhibit to all who are living that they are not what they have been proclaimed to be. This, to those who venerated the fallen, represents a devastating paradigm shift that forever alters their perception of events to follow. Some refuse to believe, holding true to their religion in hopes that somehow the one they once held in such reverence would miraculously disprove all that their eyes had betrayed; this never happens, for once the god-like have fallen they can never again attain the heights at which they once soared. Others lash out at those who have rent their idol and brought forth such distressing revelations for them to behold; these are the most dangerous of sorts for through their zealotry any number of violent results may arise from the depths of their retribution and despair. Still others sit in silence, pondering all that they have observed, incapable of processing everything that has passed before their eyes; they become numb and simply tune the whole thing out and proceed as if nothing had happened. These are of the worst specie of fool, for to deny the truth when plainly revealed betrays the capacity of a man; showing himself to be both blind and shallow.

Oh how Mr. Obama must feel as he sits amongst the flame and ruin of the Blagojevich Governorship, his well tailored image in tatters and the diadem now fallen from his head. Yes, he will protest and ply his case before the court of public opinion, but alas the die has been cast, the veil lifted. No longer can his most ardent of admirers continue to revel in the unholy glow of their now tarnished idol as to do so would demonstrate their obstinacy as well as their fanaticism. Obama has now been revealed to be human, complete with all the loathsome vestiges that must accompany the mortal throughout this life. Never again can anyone be expected to believe that he is a politician above all politicians, oblivious all of the worldly temptations prone to that profession. No he is just like the other politicians; embroiled in incestuous political associations that were corrupt from their inception. Nay he is no god; he is a mere mortal just like all the rest and more imperfect than most.

And what of this criminal whose association with Obama initiated his fall? What sort of man would openly solicit the exchange of political power for his personal financial gain? There is no better display of the contempt held by our political adversary towards this nation’s political institutions than this. Can it be said that money does truly corrupt when it has been demonstrated that its powers to do so can so easily be trumped by political ambition and the power to anoint? These people do not, nor have they ever believed in the supremacy of democratic institutions and the responsibilities inherent in their administration. They are snakes amongst men; willing to connive and deceive so as to further exploit the authority granted to them by their constituents. It must be remembered that these are the same liars who are so quick to assault those who vigorously peruse the accumulation of capital through honest means. This is the height of hypocrisy for it speaks to the core of our differences. They attack the capitalist and besmirch his reputation out of contempt for his successes, all the while behind closed doors they are selling out the republic for the proverbial thirty pieces of silver. You tell me of which is the worse. These wretches symbolize all that we despise as free men amongst a nation populated with such vile leaders.

How many of us stood before the body politic and proclaimed that this man, Obama, was a product of his associations with other men and his actions could be predicted by the philosophies held by these mentors? Have we not been proven correct? And if not decisively so, then at least have our protestations not been validated? This is precisely the sort of outrage that we predicted when so many about us refused to open their eyes. Scandal leaves a stain on a man, on which he man never remove, carrying it until his final days. He will never again be viewed by his proponents in the same manner that he has enjoyed here to for, unless of course their sycophantic nature precludes them from opening their eyes. Sadly this is most likely the case.

The Media as Threat and Enemy

If one were to listen solely to members of that treacherous lot of imbeciles comprising the journalist class in America one could easily reach the conclusion that the distressing economic state that currently exists is the end result of unfettered capitalism. Oh how they revel in their dire predictions of future calamity at the hands of those of us who continue profess belief in the capitalist system. They explicitly lie and obfuscate in order to progress their, here to for, hidden agenda of oppression; preying openly on those amongst us who possess not the intellect to recognize their malicious intent, and willingly consume their tripe. Make no mistake; their aim is to completely remake society in their image by overturning the centuries of progress mankind has made towards the hope of achieving true individual freedom, and supplanting it with a dream of a false paradise. To this end they employ unscrupulous means by which they dispatch with all personal morality and instead turn reality upon its ear by spreading the lie that all of our misery lie at the feet of the existing order. If it were not for their cunning and rapaciousness they should most certainly be called fools. For what they unknowingly peruse are not the utopian dreams of an egalitarian society but a horrendous nightmare of slavery, poverty, and suffering.

Why do we continue to worship at the alter of these practitioners of their temporal religion as they persist in sacrificing, daily, every thing we hold sacred? Perhaps we are masochists who revel in our own suffering; subconsciously pleased with every sharp pain they inflict as if only serves to remind us that we are alive. Perhaps we have become dependant on their deceit as if we were an addict who, conscious of the damage being inflicted, still craves ever more until, at last, we consume our fatal dose and slip into nothingness as if we had never existed. True it is perplexing that day after day, we continue to consume what they dish to us as all the while they become more vitriolic and pernicious, but we have few alternatives and they require effort to find and digest. This involves too much effort for the masses and as a result the mob has even fewer alternatives; relying on those aged institutions that have served to shroud reality so effectively. They have willingly fallen under their spell, swallowing everything they are fed until there they sit, fat, dumb, and stupid. The media have done their job.

They know what they do, for they have consciously set about to do it, and to argue otherwise if a fool’s errand. To think that the collective effects of all their actions are the consequence of mere happenstance is a delusion that affects the simplest of minds. It would be best that you do not count yourself amongst their numbers. Instead accept the reality that those in the media have set upon their agenda and are executing it to great effect, all at the expense of the freedoms that we have begun to take for granted. They will sink to any depth and employ any weapon at their disposal in order to attack these freedoms for they represent a threat to their sovereignty. Once they loose their grip on the mechanism responsible for the dissemination of information, and it is beginning to occur, they will have lost their ability to institute this insidious change from the natural order to one of the vilest designs of man.

Capitalism as the Will of Man

As man is subservient to the will, it is only natural for men of a higher intellectual stripe to gravitate towards a social structure that offers him the greatest opportunity to satisfy his desires with the his reward being proportional to his effort. On the other hand, the dullard will gravitate to a structure that requires the least amount of effort to be expended, regardless of whether or not it satisfies his desires, simply because it the path of least resistance. It is for this reason we find that men who are bound to a collectivist system, regardless of magnitude, are often beset by the dissatisfaction and resentment resulting from their inability to satisfy that most fundamental of human compulsions. This is especially true of the enlightened man as he is particularly susceptible to the ills brought on by the inability to fulfill the latent desires found in within. Capitalism feeds the desires of the will for it allows man to fulfill his destiny, as he perceives it, through the exercise of his own free will, without the demands or responsibilities placed upon him by his fellow man. Free from these artificial demands man is free to either succeed or fail, owing his ultimate fate not to the actions of other men, but through the actions of himself and himself alone. This is the truest example of individual freedom that exists in the world today for it bestows the responsibility for mans success on his accomplishments and removes the contrived links that binds the fate one man to that of other men.

Collectivism, whether it be mild or extreme in nature makes no difference for it is all one in the same, squelches the means by which man can satisfy his will. Through the elimination of self reliance and independent action collectivism suppress the efforts of the individual by virtue of the chains in which it binds one man to another. Like a chain gangs of old who restlessly toiled before the crack of the whip, men bound together through a collectivist ordering of society forfeit their own free will to that of all other men. This collective will, initially perceived as the overall desire of the society as a whole, usually devolves into the singular will of the despot. No collective order can satisfy the will of all men for sheer fact than all men have individual needs and different desires; the time required to satisfy all would preclude the ability of the system to satisfy any. This absence of satisfaction results in frustration, alienation, and anomie (those familiar with Marxism will immediately recognize that this directly contradicts his conclusion, neverthe less it is quite true thereby demonstrating the compleet bafoonery inherant to his theory). This is where the dictator makes his entrance, imposing his dominating will upon the individual by promising to satisfy all, ultimately he seeks only to satisfy his own will, in the process sacrificing the desires of all.

Capitalism, as it represents the absence of a system contrived by the mind of man and thereby possesses none of the inherent coercion necessary to compel man to cooperate, provides the freedom required for man to satisfy the desires of his will. Man is left to his own means to determine how to interact with other men. There is no all powerful government standing over him ready to pronounce judgment on his every action, no collective body to harness him with guilt because he placed his own self interest ahead of the group, only man standing naked before nature with only his morals to guide him. Left alone to determine his fate his will thrives as there is no artificial system to shape his actions. He alone determines how he is to set about determining the course of his life; left to settle upon which road to travel until the end of his days, leaving the wishes and demands of others far behind in the muddle of contrivances and chaos. His will thrives in this absence of alien demands, obeying only its never ending call for realization.

What of the man who, if upon the approach of his final moment, arrives at the realization that throughout the whole of his existence he ignored the call of his will and instead expended his efforts in the pursuit of the collective will? Is he to judge his life a success or a failure? To what will he point in order to justify his claim of success? He cannot judge it so, for he will be recalling a life devoted to the interests of others, substituting his will for that of the collective order. No man can judge a life of this nature a success for it is a life filled with want and the resulting anger over that which was never realized. No, the man who lived his life inside the collectivist machine will find it impossible to die contently as he is faced with the realization that his life has been wasted, not in pursuit of his own gratification, but in pursuit of the admiration of the collectivist order. Sadly that adulation is reserved for the order itself.

On the Virtue and Vice of Envy

Man’s life can be summed up as the never ending desire to fulfill certain basic needs. As I am sure that the majority of my readers are familiar with Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, I will not waste my time in recalling all of the various nuances involved when discussing these motivating factors. It shall suffice to say that man is driven by want, in his most elemental form he is compelled to quench his desires by the means at his disposal, weather it be industriousness or villainy. This yearning to calm this insatiable beast that forever hounds mankind lends itself to frustration, in part to it’s never pull on the soul of mankind. The end result of this frustration manifests itself in that emotion all too common to man, envy. Much has been written about envy and the power it possesses over man; its ability to blind one out of lust or its effect on everyday social relationships. Yes, envy is listed amongst Christianity’s seven deadly sins and universally condemned by religious institutions of all denominations for its adverse affect on the human spirit, but that is not our purpose here, although the negative affects of envy we shall most assuredly discuss in a moment. The purpose of this discussion is to not only to touch upon the negative affects of envy on man, and they are legion, but the power it possesses to motivate man to strive towards a better existence.

The negative effect produced by the presence of envy is most pronounced in the man of a lesser moral character. As it is, most men fall under this category, lacking not only the discipline but the moral understanding of the most effective and satisfying manner in which to gratify their primal needs. It is in these poor wretches that envy takes on its most insidious character, driving men to the depths of moral depredation. In this sort of man instead of utilizing his own means to procure the fulfillment needed to satisfy the urges of the will, he often resorts to nefarious means to thwart his frustrations. As a substitute for industry he turns to the numerous deprivations open to him; gambling, intoxicants, theft, violence, and the sensual pleasures are all that he feels are available to quench the thirst of his will. I am of the opinion that this is where the sin of envy originates, not in the actual act of envy, but in the resultant actions.

What of the morally righteous man? How does envy affect those amongst us who possess a superior intellect enabling him to apply reason and rationality in his quest to satisfy his will? In men of this stripe we remarkably find that envy produces an effect the complete polar opposite of that of the wretch. In the man of intellect we see that envy causes him not to indulge in the ills of society, but instead provides the impetus to increase his production. When he encounters others who possess more than he, rather than fall into a state of frustration which leads to anger, he determines to eclipse them through the exertion of his will, as opposed to succumbing to it. This pursuit in and of it self extinguishes some of the desire induced by the will for he feel satisfaction in the quest itself, and what remains is pleased upon the attainment of his goals. Envy serves as a motivational force in this man as opposed to the destructive or malicious compulsions we observe in the lesser. In the superior man of intellect envy is not a vice, but a virtue, one capable of compelling man to achieve his dreams and in turn elevating the overall plight of society. He depends not upon others to provide the satisfaction his will requires, and instead seeks out methods of his own accord to provide what he needs.

Therefore we are to conclude that while envy serves to pull society collectively in a negative direction, it also provides a mechanism through which the individual can contribute to it's positive. Sadly because of the huge disparity in numbers between those who are subject to the woes of envy and those who are amongst the benefactors of its influence, the general tendency is to ascribe to it a negative connotation. In the general sense this could be true, but to do so vanquishes the positive effects it often carries and causes the inspiration inherent to its positive character to be ignored.

I Have No Pity for The Poor

There it is. I have uttered those words so contemptible in modern society that the mere allusion to such a sentiment is beyond reproach. Please forgive me, but I no longer have the patience to deal with those who wish to remain mired in the lowest depths of the social order. Are there not means available to these people who perpetually contend for the scraps from the table of those of those who actually contribute to the betterment of our world? This is not to say that I have no compassion for those who are infirmed, whether it be in a mental capacity or those suffering permanent injury to their persons, or those who, now beset by the ravages of old age have fallen into poverty. No, it is not these poor souls of which I am speaking of when I condemn the poor, it is those amongst this division of society who crave not advancement or a better life for themselves but are content to permanently siphon wealth from the upper reaches of the ladder. These dregs are, in my opinion, to be held in the highest form of contempt.

What affliction causes a man to sit for hours on end idly passing the time caring not for what he can contribute to our world and instead expends a tremendous amount of effort into devising new and original ways to defraud the rest of us? Has he no self respect, no drive that motivates him to succeed. The tools are there if he were to only seize them with his own hands and use them in a constructive manner. How sad it must be to lack the basic motivations inherent in the simplest creatures who determine to not provide for themselves and instead depend upon others to provide their basic sustenance. But does the blame rest solely upon their shoulders, or are there more treacherous actions afoot?

The argument could be made that those capable of productive contributions to the social order are held bound in their dire circumstances by forces who are content to exploit their misery for political gain. Yes, in a sense the poor are victims, but not of the sort most in positions of power would have you believe. They are victims not of exploitation by the wealthy, but by our adversaries on the left who wish to manipulate their plight into successes at the ballot box. The left is more than willing to talk from both sides of their mouth. One voice cries out for compassion and government sponsored charity, while the other whispers behind the closed doors of the party offices that these people are our path to power and control, keep them subjugated long enough so that their corpses can line our road power. They promise everything and deliver nothing, again and again, nothing. Strangely enough the poor continue to flock to these charlatans, believing every lie that they are told, despite the fact that they have been told the same thing time and time again, yet they remain in their desperate situation.

These are the reasons why the poor deserve contempt. Not out of the sheer fact that they possess no wealth, but because the do not possess the where with all to realize a lie when told to them, even more so when told to them multiple times. Blinded by envy for those amongst us who produce and consume by the sweat of our brow, they are unwilling to break free from the collectivist chains that hold their minds shut and seek a way other than state sponsored assistance to alleviate their suffering. These poor wicked fools deserve everything that they have, nothing, and despite all of the promises made by their master, that is all that they will ever have. I do not shed a tear for their plight; no I shed a tear for their idiocy and lack of self respect. I pity the poor not because of what they do not have but for what they cannot see. Before them lie untold opportunities available to all men in a free county, yet they are unwilling to seize upon them because it is all to easy to sit and wait for the government to pull them along. They sit and consume promises of equality and wealth if only they continue to despise those who possess more, but theses dreams are never fulfilled. Until these hapless simpletons desist in their self inflicted misery I shall offer no compassion and continue to heap contempt by the score upon their plight.

The Left and The Will To Fight

I do not wish to coddle the enemy, nor do I wish to change his grim outlook on life. I want to lay waste to the enemy and rend his will to fight. That, my friend, is the only indisputable way to win a war. Otherwise, with his faculties intact and any shred of will left to resist, you have only brought into being another generation of adversary that will be born of resentment and spite, and when left to his devices, will devise alternate methods to strike back at his antagonist. To leave the enemy intact, though bruised and bloodied he may be, is commensurate to dousing a flame with gasoline. Why have we lost sight of this fact? It should not be our purpose to win the hearts and minds of our Islamic enemies, nay, with every act of benevolence their ire grows stronger and more violent. We should endeavor to break their backs in such a manner that they are unable to raise their swords in anger let alone place them to our throats. Sadly, our leadership in this great nation has lost their will to fight, and if left unchecked, this malady will lead to capitulation and, ultimately, subjugation to the will of our merciless foe.

The question arises; what impetus causes a man to recoil at the use of force in defense of his homeland? Is it a self loathing symptomatic of some genetic defect inherent in his physical make up or is it something more insidious? It can be no fault of genetics for it is the means by which the body takes its form, dictating more of what we are than who we are. What we are looking to uncover is psychological in nature, a learned behavior developed over time and through intense mental conditioning.

Born of the treacherous copulation of guilt and moral relevancy political correctness lies at the root of the corruption that has eroded our will to fight. Unwilling to accept the unique role as a beacon of moral justice throughout the world bestowed upon the US, the left has sought to undermine our will in hopes of reducing our position to that of equals amongst lower nations. They have been quite successful in their endeavors. Through lies, deception, and clever emotional tricks they have chipped away at our willingness to defend ourselves until we are left, as we see today, more fearful of our own strength than we are of our enemies murderous capabilities. They are shameless in their actions, hoisting the mangled bodies of our enemies before the all to willing cameras of the mass media and proclaim our guilt by virtue of the God given right to self defense. They swindle the masses through intentional distortions of our language; repeating phrases such as “disproportional response” and “no blood for oil” until it saturates the common discourse and eventually becomes accepted as fact, when nothing could be farther from the truth.

Our demise is their goal. They would love nothing more than to see the might of this nation reduced to an untenable level. Oh how they would surely revel in the sight of our demolition as the Islamicists and Collectivist hoards sweep across this land destroying centuries of work and overturning our cherished institutions. They have aligned themselves with those who seek our demise, although not openly, for that would require far to much of that which they possess all to little, courage, and work from within the very ramparts that afford them protection to achieve those malicious ends. They seek revolution, it is well known and acknowledged as the core of their collectivist ideology, but lack the fortitude to make the sacrifices that that course of action entails. As a result they turn to those from the outside to act as their proxy, investing huge sums of emotional capital and enterprise in hopes that someone, anyone, regardless of their stripe, will strike a blow against what they spurn.

Here in lies the irony of that which they seek. Make no doubt that if they were, heaven forbid, to achieve their goals or anything approaching it, they would be amongst the first to feel the sting of the conqueror’s whip. Their blind resentment and self inflicted guilt precludes them from reaching this obvious conclusion. They are fools to believe that the tolerance that they extend towards our enemies will ever be repaid; they are nothing more than tools to be utilized by our adversaries to achieve their ends and then to be persecuted and subjugated along with the rest. If they meet this end then they deserve every ounce of their reward for a man who seeks to undermine his fellow countryman deserves less than freedom, he deserves to be enslaved by the very despots he honored in the past.

Make no mistake, the election of Barak Obama as 44th president of the United States represents the counterbalance that threatens to capsize the West and cast us all into the murkiness of, as Churchill might call it, a new Dark Age. Not only does his inexperience pose a serious and ominous threat to the safety of the citizenry, but his naiveté portends to embolden and energize the adversary that threatens our gates. Even his most ardent of supporters stand in bewildering silence when pressed to cite any reasonable example of foreign policy experience that has helped shape the future actions of their dear leader. They can not legitimately point to any such episode simply because prior to that fateful day in January when Obama is sworn in he has exited only in the realm of speculation and conjecture. What shakes one to the core is the realization that upon the shoulders of this neophyte rests the responsibility not only to parry the thrust made by the enemy but to gather the courage needed to unsheathe the sword and actually draw blood. It is disheartening to arrive at such a conclusion in the vacuum of theory and rhetoric, but when placed in the context of recent real world events, one is frightened on an unprecedented level. Never before in the history of our nation has the electorate risked so much on the unproven abilities of someone whose experience exists not in the realm of the real or factual, but solitarily on the fallacious theories of the university and their warped perception of reality.
On paper any confrontation or crisis is manageable. This is due primarily to the subconscious realization that there are no real lives at risk, no actual families to be torn apart; no there are only words which are to be processed accordingly and procedures to be followed to the exact letter. Those well versed in the bureaucratic arts of the university and the state legislature will excel in these mental exercises because it requires no free thought. In such abstract performances there is no room for creativity or inventiveness, there is only the script to be followed. One formulated response leads to a contrived reply and so on and so forth until an acceptable end is achieved in which all is right in the world. It is of these mental exercises of which Obama’s defenders speak when they laud his rationality and ability to remain cool in a crisis. Sadly, they are of no real consequence to me, or to you, or to our families for they are nothing more than illusions of reality scripted for the sole purpose of stroking the ego and building a false sense of accomplishment for the civil servant. These are lies of the most grievous order for the reason that they could, in the end, lead to our own mortality through false assumptions and lack of originality. Obama thrives in this fantasy world created by the university elite. To this classification of fool I pay no respect and cast only aspersions, for it is in their minds that rest the incubator for such incipient myth. Obama portrays himself as dauntless and of steady demeanor but if the truth be told I fear he is a man composed of quite the opposite. Bolstered by the esteem in which he is held in such circles he endeavors to wear the robe of a lion, strutting and prancing like a fearless warrior, oblivious to reality and feasting on the fantasies of others. But his day of reckoning must surly come; and what then? What will become of all of us under his charge when all those years theoretical crisis management are called upon to guide him through peril and calamity? How is he to respond when our adversaries toss the script aside and proceed to wreak havoc and destruction on a here to for untold level? I fear that a dreadful fate awaits us all under the direction of such a man, for one who deals in reality is equipped to cope with it, all others are doomed to be shaped by its will and forced to carry

Obama and the Bear

A disaster awaits us, one more devastating and detrimental to our existence than anything we have before encountered. While Obama sits in Chicago picking over the rancid carcass of the Clinton administration in hopes of finding another stooge to fill his cabinet, to our south a storm is brewing. The Russian Bear, now fully awakened from its decades long hibernation, is once again seeking to extend its influence and military might into the western hemisphere. The danger we face from the sinful alliance between the Russians and that criminal Chaves poses a threat not only to US hegemony in our own hemisphere but to or nation as a whole.
What concerns me most is this: How will Obama react to the threat posed by such an unholy alliance we see developing in such close proximity to our own border? If his ill-considered response to the most recent episode of Russian aggression in Georgia is any indication, uncertainty and obfuscation are the only weapons he is able to wield in our defense. His inability to see evil and name it so places all our lives at risk, for in order to challenge evil one must first be able to perceive is as such. Obama clearly lacks this ability, his mind clouded by those many years spent at university where one is trained and encouraged to abandon all moral judgment in deference to the theological doctrine of international equilibrium. To pass judgment on the actions of a despot runs contrary to his adherence to the fetid and outmoded philosophy moral relevance. For far to long he and other acolytes of this sham of a religion have bowed at it’s alter in hopes of ushering in an era of peace and justice. Instead they have brought us nothing but fear and uncertainty by ignoring the villainous actions of those who seek our demise.
Is it possible for someone to sit, day after day and year after year, in the presence of those who expound such virulent anti-Americanism, whether it be in academic and social circles or even worse yet from the pulpit, without accepting at least some morsel of it and incorporating it into his own philosophy? Make no mistake, despite all of his protestations to the contrary, this is exactly what he has done. One would be hard pressed to name one single person counted amongst his numbers who professes the moral exceptionalism found in the people and actions of this nation. Instead you get those who profess animus and resentment towards all the good that we have brought in to the world, and focus delightfully on the self perceived ills we have hypothetically delivered upon the suffering. A man can be judged by looking at those with whom he surrounds himself, and in the case of Obama his associates lay bare all of the fears and uncertainties that formulate our suspicions.
Is there any doubt as to the course of action this inane little man will decide upon when faced with an international crisis? He will have no option except to obey his innermost impulses, those arising more from instinct rather than reason, and attach the blame wholly on ourselves. This self loathing and masochistic inclination towards self incrimination defines the world view in possession of those who populate the modern American leftist movements. Any excuse, any reason, any justification they can find to erode American power will, by default, become their position. It is American power and our ability to advance its moral philosophy throughout the world that they, as a function of their very nature, find so loathsome. Therefore they seek to blunt our spear through any means necessary, never mind how nefarious or disastrous it might prove in the end.

The Moral Arguement for The Flat Tax

Let me state this up front; the current system of progressive taxation represents a philosophy of discrimination that would, if the same philosophy were to be applied to any other social strata, be abhorred and denounced as a relic of the past. Those who endorse such a system are guilty of a contradiction so grievous and obvious that one must question whether their approval is the result of blind ignorance or malicious intent. To forcibly confiscate wealth, and make no mistake that is exactly what our current system does, from the citizenry in a manner that holds one citizen to a higher degree of responsibility than another, based solely upon economic success, is incompatible with a society who professes fairness and equality. True fairness, if that is the desired goal, exists in a system that holds each and every citizen, regardless of income, to the exact same standards and demands. Therefore, if one wishes to implement a system of taxation that promotes true fairness and equality across the economic spectra one is left only with what has commonly been called the “Flat Tax”, or more accurately the “Fair Tax”.
In order to truly discuss these matters one needs to closely examine the word “fair” and its connotations and implications. What is it to be fair? How does it lend itself to matters of taxation and economic responsibility? The word itself implies the absence of favoritism or a preference in judgment, in other words free from prejudice. To act in a fair manner would require one to evaluate others in exactly the same manner, regardless of external factors such as, in the case of our discussion, income, accumulated property, or wealth in a general sense. Fairness can only exists, in its truest sense, when we disregard these artificial criteria against which the worth of a man is judged by material possessions and judge him against other men. In the end one must arrive at the conclusion that he is equal in his responsibilities through the virtue of his equality amongst men both before the law and his stature in society. Therefore to penalize a man based upon the property in his possession is no less loathsome than to penalize him for his race, religion, or political creed. Because if this glaring inconsistency it can be accurately stated that those who advocate a system of progressive taxation ultimately endorse a system based upon discrimination and prejudice, a charge against which they will most assuredly recoil in the most vigorous manner.
This act of punitive discrimination lies at the heart of the matter, for it is the intent of the proponents of the existing tax structure to inflict economic injury on his fellow citizens by sheer virtue of his accumulated property and his potential. Is it not peculiar that these thieves, and justly called so, can so easily seek to do harm to another man based upon the most repugnant of human traits as that of envy, greed, and jealousy? This becomes all the more ridiculous and distasteful when, in the same breath they use to indict the prosperous, they seek to gain greater representation before the law for the practitioners of societies’ greatest wickedness such as the debasement of children, blatant thievery, or murderer. This is discrimination in its essential form, and what makes it all the more odious is the fact that it is not only held up as a form of “social justice” by so many of the corrupt, but that it is enshrined in the binding laws of a nation that professes to be the model of tolerance and equality. This is delusion on an epic level.
Freedom and equality are guaranteed only through equal representation before the law and any abridgement of the individual’s equality before other men results in the infringement upon his freedom. Government’s sole responsibility lies in the act of protection of its citizenry. Whether it be the protection against the foreign antagonist or the protection of the rights of one citizens against infringement. In the case of the latter it is woefully derelict for it actually engages in the systematic discrimination of one class of citizens for the reward of another class, undermining the rights of the penalized, and perpetuating an injustice that runs contrary to all that we hold dear.

The Truth is a Funny Thing

How will those who now occupy slightly more than the majority react once they awake from their mental hibernation and discover that they are the hapless victims of one of histories cruelest deceptions. If I could only be privy to their innermost thoughts as the sleep fades from their turbid consciousness and they realize that everything they had hoped for and all the things promised them were nothing more than the cruelest of electoral shams. This would truly be the greatest of rewards for the free thinker who stood by and called in vain to those who eagerly consumed the tripe Obama and his surrogates eagerly dished out. The truth will eventually come to these dullards, sooner or later, and as that faintest of knocks sounds upon the doors of their idealistic minds it will not be the harbinger of a welcomed visitor.
The truth is a funny thing. Not only does it comfort and console those who could see through all of the obfuscation and myth, but it torments those who were taken in by slick talk and flowery rhetoric by revealing the shallowness of their thinking. The anguish of the later is always disproportionately more agonizing than the vindication won by the former; it is from this that the pain of truth originates. To the one who finally sees the truth of fact following such a deep, self inflicted, hypnosis, the truth stings as if it were salt in the eyes; the wider one open their eyes the more intense the sting becomes, and the more the compulsion to shut ones eyes grows all the greater. Once the sting begins it is difficult to halt its burn; one must wait for that well practiced physician, time, to cure the malady. The resulting scars of cynicism shall be present to their dying day.
This is the sting that awaits those who followed that primordial instinct and walked in earnest along with all the other sheep to their fate by casting their lot for their messiah. Do they honestly believe that he can produce all that he has promised? Can he deliver us from his own bleak forecast of what awaits us all? The answer can only be in the negative for Obama himself will most assuredly prove to be the catalyst that ignites the fall.
Has he yet displayed any signs of delivering on his much ballyhooed mantra of change? One only has to look at the long list of reprobates from the previous Democratic administration to find the answer. This does not represent change; it represents the actions of a simple man with an even simpler mind searching in vain for some sliver of hope that will deliver him from the current calamity. By bringing numerous Clinton officials into the new administration Obama presents us all with a glairing contradiction; that change represents a return to the past. The mere definition of the word change denotes a departure from the status quo, not a return to one of its previous incarnations. The fallacy of this logic requires no explanation for its absurdity galls the mind.
The question beckons: how will it be once Obama is seated on his throne and his admirers are left wanting for this departure from the status quo? Will they revolt and cast their savior to the ground driven by the resentment resulting from the ease at which they were lead astray. Sadly the answer is no. They will continue to cling to any vestige of hope out of a desire to keep the truth, and its accompanying sting, at bay. They will contort their positions and distort reality in hopes that they can construct a false reality to sooth their pain. They will continue to hold Obama above all those who have come before out of a desire to protect themselves from the savages of the truth. Despite their best efforts the truth will come; regardless of their protestations and manipulation, regardless of all their attempts to mislead in much the same manner in which they themselves were mislead, it will come. When it does nothing will protect them from this reality, for the truth is a funny thing.

The Media Turns The Knife

They are insidious. They are reprehensible. They are vindictive. They are all that we find unpleasant in the human race. They are the Main Stream Media. You know them well for you have been subjected to their venom and ire with every word spewed forth from their cankered lips. How sad is it that through the demonstration of their past acts and deceit that nary a word from their mouth can be believed? How much more distressing is it when one confronts the reality that they are charged with disseminating what should be the truth to the public? The danger posed by this unsightly group not only prey upon the fortitude of the free thinker, but wear away at the foundation of the republic, grating on the cornerstone of freedom until all that is left is the cold void of ignorance thru deception.
Look at the practice in which they are currently engaged. Is it not enough to have misrepresented the intentions and action of the current administration to the point to which the general public questions every action as though it were a surgeon seeking to remove a cancer? For these wretches that infest the public discourse nothing short of complete humiliation and abasement will suffice in their desire to validate the lies that they have spread for the past eight years. Now, with the termination of their pursuit so close at hand to simply watch their unfortunate victim fade away to be judged by future historians will not suffice. Instead they seek to plunge the knife further, and finally, as if to add insult to injury, give the knife a sharp turn so as to make the wound all the more difficult to heal.
They see their opportunity clearly now, for it has been handed to them through the deeds that they have perpetrated, to dispatch with a president they enthusiastically loath. “Pile on!” they surely scream to one another from behind the scenes and the make up chair, each yearning to get in just one more swipe at their victim. The end is near but the blood that they have drawn thus far is not enough to calm the rapacious lust for more. They seek not only to destroy but, more importantly, to dishonor, to reduce the mighty to their level so that they may feel vindicated for their efforts.
Nor will it end when this time has passed and the era of their messiah commences. No, for once Obama assumes control they will continue to batter their favored victim in absentia. With every stumble and with every mistake committed by their savior those harlots will hold up the carcass of the fallen, clad in the albatrosses of Katrina, the economic collapse, and their distorted caricature of the war in Iraq, and again cast aspersion, certain that their hateful residue still clings in the collective memory. Not an opportunity shall pass without them referring to what once was in hopes of deflecting the wretchedness that will be.
Their work is almost complete now. All that remains is their unceremonious burial of the departed in the unmarked mass grave of collectivist lies and contempt.

The Roots of the Iranian Cult of Martyrdom and the Threat it Poses

According to today’s New York Times Iran has produced, with additional purification, enough nuclear material to constitute one atomic weapon. While no evidence has been shown that would lead one to conclude that the Iranians have actually constructed a weapon, even in crude form, the potential for the assembly of such a weapon is greater than ever before. The threat posed by a regime in which the Shia cult of martyrdom that pervades every facet of Iranian society cannot be ignored any longer.
Although the tradition of martyrdom, or shaheed (literally meaning “witness”), reaches back to antiquity, the Iranian cult of martyrdom as we know it today began in the early 1970’s through the teachings of Ali Shariati. Influenced by Marxist thought he sought to correct what he felt was the single gretest threat to Iran and Shia Islam, gharbzadegi or occidentosis. This term refers to a loss of Iranian identity through the influx of western ideas and influence, most noteably the United States, Israel, and Western Europe. He sought to remedy this by redefining traditional Shia’ism in strictly Iranian terms, what he defines “Red Shia’ism". Through Shariati’s writings and lectures the classical interpretation of the martyrdom of the Third Imam, Husayn ibn Ali, was redefined. To Shariati Husayn’s death at the hands of the reigning Calipf, Yazid ibn Muawiyah ibn Abu Sufyan represented the oppressed rising up against the oppressor in defense of “the true form of Islam.” Shariati held up the martyrdom of Husayn as the perfect example of piety and encouraged all Iranians to rise up in his spirit and emulate his sacrifice in the defense of Islam. Shariati coined the phrase popular durring the 1979 Islamic revolution, "everyday is Ashoura, every place is Karbala.” which remains popular to this day. By using Marxist theories coupled with a fundamentalist interpretation if Shia traditions Shariati produced a worldview wholly Iranian in nature.
The other crucial aspect of Ali Shariati’s teachings that bear on our discussion of the Iranian cult of martyrdom surrounds the return of the Twelfth Imam, Muhammad al-Mahdi. The Mahdi represents a messianic figure who promises to return from a mystical occultation that began in 874 AD and free the world from injustice and tyranny. According to Shia tradition the world will be plunged into chaos, war, and suffering prior to the Mahdi’s return whereby he will destroy all unbelievers and reinstitute the pure form of Islam practiced by the Prophet Mohammed. Shariati altered the existing doctrine surrounding the return of the Mahdi by teaching that instead of passively waiting for the Mahdi it was the duty of all Iranians to actively pursue conditions that would hasten his return.
These alterations to Shia doctrine proved to be invaluable during both the 1979 revolution and the 1980-1988 war with Iraq that followed shortly thereafter. During the revolution the pursuit of martyrdom was openly encouraged by portraying the Shaw and his colonial agents, the US and Israel, as oppressors and drew comparisons between the despotic Caliph Yazid and the Shaw himself. Every aspect of the revolution was cast in classical Marxist terms where in the oppressed was bound, in this case by God, to overthrow the oppressor, here again portrayed as western influence. These methods were used to great effect by Ruholla Khomeini during the revolutionary struggle for the soul of Iran. Again during the Iran-Iraq war the Islamic leadership composed primarily of the clerical class, were quick to employ these images in hopes of mobilizing the population against the Sunni leadership of Iraq, Saddam Hussein. The use of suicide operations against the invading armies of the secular state of Iraq proved quite effective especially in the later stages of the war and have been well documented.
The cult of martyrdom remains as potent a force in Iranian religious teachings today as it was during the turbulent years of the Revolution and subsequent war with Iraq. To martyr oneself in the defense or promotion of Islam is the greatest honor one can pay to the Islamic republic. The notion that martyrdom is the duty of every citizen is pervasive throughout the rank and file citizenry as well as the government itself.
This brings us to the crux of the problem we now face with the prospect of a nuclear armed Iran. In a culture so saturated with the belief that to sacrifice oneself in the defense and promotion of Islam vis-à-vis the Iranian Republic, how can anyone dissuade them from using a nuclear weapon once they acquire it? The answer is simple: you can’t. Once Iran acquires a nuclear weapon of any size rest assured that they will use it despite any danger or threat to their national survival that they may face. The often ballyhooed doctrine of deterrence through MAD is totally and utterly useless when facing an enemy who openly welcomes death at the hands of the non believer. To them a nuclear response by the US or Israel would be welcomed as s fulfillment of their duty to Islam and harbinger of the return of an Islamic messiah.
In order to prevent a nuclear exchange of any kind action must be taken immediately. For far to long the leaders of the western democracies have obfuscated their responsibility for the defense of their respective countries by deferring to diplomats whose only solution is to threaten and discuss. The Iranian regime knows how to play the diplomacy game witnessing the reluctance with which the west took on Saddam Hussein, ultimately leaving the task up to the US and a hand full of allies. Sadly the US leadership has been politically castrated by those on the Left who have sought to undermine its moral authority by casting aspersions of the liberation of Iraq. This will prove to be a very dangerous course of action to have been undertaken. The opportunity to solve the Iranian problem is quickly slipping away and the new administration shows no signs of standing up to the fundamentalist regime. Obama has specifically stated in the past that he will stand with the Muslim is political conditions turn against them.
This does not bode well for the US, Western Europe, or its allies in the region. I am of the opinion that Mr. Obama will noting but exercise the same diplomatic maneuverings we have sat through for the past eight years with little or nothing to show for it. Iran knows how Obama will react to any act of aggression on its part anyone who has ever sat through a lecture on constitutional law can tell you how the professor would react. Obama has no intention in maintaining the hegemonic posture of the US in the region and has openly campaigned against it in the past. To Obama the US is an equal amongst the community of nations and as such has no legitimate right meddling in the affairs of a sovereign nation who claims that it is peacefully working on a civilian energy program. He will be easy for the Iranians to fool, hell they have already done so.

Capitalism as a Mechanism for Change

Recently we have heard various pundits, politicians, and every day citizens all clamoring for “change”. Just what this mythical ideal is no one can quite explain, they all just agree that it is good and that they want it. If one pushes aside the question of what exactly this change entails and, for a moment, focuses on the mechanism best suited to innate efficient change within a social structure one arrives at a contradiction posed by recent electoral results. If the results of the recent election are to be understood as an endorsement for “change” then one must also agree that the body politic believes that the party best suited to affect said change is the same party that endorses collectivist policies such as wealth redistribution, corporate welfare, and a punitive tax structure. This only goes to demonstrate the failings of our modern school system and the prevailing ignorance when matters of economics and social theory, among others, are concerned. The most efficient, painless, and rapid method for altering society is not collectivism but competitive capitalism.
Through the competition inherent in the capitalist system change is initiated not by the design of man, but through an organic Darwinism of ideas. Ideas are brought up and evaluated, most are abandoned, some are put into practice only to have them fail due to inefficiency or undesired results, and still fewer are implemented on a long term basis. This competition is possible only through the critical component of capitalism, freedom.
Without freedom social change has it origins in the will of on single person, a dictator, or through the collective will of a few select individuals who comprise the ruling elite. There is no mechanism through which new ideas constituting a “change” are vetted and evaluated in the public square. The process of evaluation and implementation is left to the devises of a chosen few who, as is often the case with men, serve their own self interests and neglect the needs and desires of the populace. This serves only the masters will by imposing their ideas of social change which often run contrary to intent of the electorate. Despotism ensues due to the conflict between the interests of the public and the will of the dictator, which through acts of force and intimidation will always emerge victorious.
Capitalism presents us with the opportunity to achieve social change not through force or coercion but through the will of the people. There is no overall controlling force that determines what constitutes a positive change as it is arrived at organically through the actions of the citizenry. Those who call for social change through the enactment of collectivist policies or actions are only acting in the interests of increasing or maintaining their power over society and desire only to see their own particular vision of society emerge, ignoring the desires of those who have chosen them to represent their desires. Society then becomes a caricature of the social ills as perceived by the ruling dictator or ruling class and often falls well short of reality resulting in the disaffection of the citizenry. The end result is an authoritarian dictatorship that molds society in ways that offend or alarm the members of said society resulting in a radical attempt regain the power oto change society through violence, insurrection, and eventually open rebellion.
Capitalism therefore allows us the opportunity to effect social change by peaceful means through which every member of society has some, all be it limited, input in the amplitude or reach of this adjustment. It is done through the subconscious actions of the individual who possess a better judgment of societies needs since they are immersed in it every day as opposed to a despot so far removed from everyday life that his perception of societies needs are product of his own warped perceptions.

Socialism and the Savage Man

The social theory we call socialism has its origins dating back to the French Revolution. Various social commentators and philosophers such as Pierre-Joseph Proudhon, Robert Owen, and Henri de Saint-Simon all contributed in some ways to its philosophical development. Each building on the previous work of others until Marx and Engels codified the concept by encapsulating it into a workable theory which they called scientific socialism. Born of man’s corrupt nature socialism represents mans desire to create a utopian paradise free from struggle and strife where equality reigns supreme. Since its inception proponents of the theory have dedicated all of their efforts into tossing out the existing order and supplanting it with what they considered a huge leap forward in the development of human thought. Nothing could be farther from reality for this supposed leap forward is, when all of the platitudes and self aggrandizement are removed, the complete opposite. It is a return to the savage state once occupied by prehistoric man.
Capitalism represents the current maturation of the extended order. By extended order I am referring to the entire social, political, and cultural system that governs mans interaction with man. Since the days when men first banded together to provide protection and sustenance there has been a steady evolution of the system of morality and conduct that has eventually brought us all to this present day. Through trial and error man has developed a series of moral rules of conduct that has built on past successes and learned from previous failings. Although many of our adversaries on the left would not admit it, socialism is not a new and progressive social order, it harkens back to the days when the extended order was just beginning to spontaneously emerge from the primordial ooze of mans mind.
Socialism is a return to the era of savagery when men were forced to band together in order to ensure basic survival. Its sole intent is to provide for the needs of a society but neglects the engine of progress and growth, wants. The system was ideally suited for a time long sense past when man depended on other members of his tribe to ensure his survival. This order is ideal for the sustainability for small relatively underdeveloped societies of a few dozen or less but fails miserably when attempting to manage large complex groups. Owing its failings to its inability to provide the numerous individual wants, socialism forces the individual to depend upon other men to provide certain needs unavailable to the individual alone. This result is increased dependence upon other men, who in turn demand further control over the means of production in order to equitably distribute the goods deemed necessary by the state. Enslavement of the individual becomes necessary so that the state can maintain control and the distribution of goods.
Capitalism on the other hand is not some arbitrary sociological construct devised to correct the perceived inequality amongst men. It is actually the absence of a system, a purely organic result of the social evolutionary process. To supplant capitalism with socialism is similar to meddling with the evolutionary process in the biological sense. Although science may be confident in its ability to manipulate the evolutionary process to do so would end in a monstrous corruption of the process resulting in a outcome that leaves much to be desired. Freedom, not the intuition of man, is the primary component of the capitalist, allowing him to dream and innovate so that not only his basic needs are met, but his wants are fulfilled as well. Do not bee fooled by those who cast their collectivist intent in a benevolent light promising progress and prosperity for all. There could be nothing farther from the truth. As if handing over 700 billion to bail out the financial market were not enough, we now see the auto industry begging for a $25 billion government handout or else, they claim, face eminent disaster. Perhaps they should take their tale of misery and despair to their fellow reprobates in the labor unions and beg for a reprieve from their oppressive contractual obligations. Fat chance! Instead they come with hat in hand to the American people and have the audacity to threaten them with further financial calamity unless someone, anyone, helps pay off their unionists pimps.
For far to long the labor unions, home to one of the most powerful assemblies of modern-day socialism found in the United States, have lead the Big Three down the road to destruction. Whether this is by design or simply the result of greed and envy I cannot say, but regardless of the primary cause they have been successful in extorting billions from what was once America’s most vibrant manufacturing sector. Through intimidation and acts of violence the unions have reduced the auto industry to sniveling beggars by slowly building layer upon layer of punitive contractual agreements that have, over time, bled the industry white. In the great collectivist tradition of attempting to manufacture wealth by confiscating from the haves and distributing to the have-nots, billions of dollars have been poured into burdensome retirement and insurance plans in hopes of “sticking it to the man.” Now, faced with the reality of imminent collapse and joblessness do the unions extend a helping hand by loosening their demands? Of course not, instead they turn a blind eye to the plight of their benefactor and look to their ultimate savior, the federal government, for a hand out. Not content to rest with the blood of the auto industry on their hands, the unionists seek to shove another stint into the jugular of the tax paying public in hopes of draining a little more blood.
The blame for such a debacle as we are witnessing rest not only on the shoulders of the unionist, but on management as well, for they have been negligent in their defense of the system they claim to champion. They have willingly become whipping boys for the unions out of a desire to be adored for the handout they give instead of the opportunities they provide. Instead of standing up to the union thugs long ago and declaring “NO MORE!” they shirk their responsibility and submit to the heavy handed threats of their masters, all the while knowing where all this will lead. Weakness in the face of opposition will undoubtedly lead to catastrophe, therefore the auto industry must be made to reap the putrid fruit that they have sown for the fault rest upon them alone.
I say let them fail! Let them collapse in penance for the transgressions they have committed against the capitalist system. Let them and all those who suckle up to the teat of free enterprise in hopes of draining it of all its wealth fall by the way side, perhaps then they will see the fallacy of their scheme. Once out on the street or in the ever lengthening unemployment lines the unionist and their subservient tools in management might just begin to realize the error of their ways, however it is unlikely.

A Day Late and a Dollar Short.... The Emergence of William Ayres

William Ayres emerged from his pre-election seclusion to appear on Good Morning America today. Strangely enough the producers of the show felt that all of the controversy surrounding the relationship between Obama and Ayres didn’t warrant any investigation or interview, but the release of a new collection of lies and anti-American propaganda penned by Ayres did. Is there any thinking American left who cannot see the insidious nature of the press and their sycophantic coverage of their chosen candidate? Make no mistake; the media hoisted this fool on the nation through their lies, omissions, and distortions and they should be held responsible for the disaster that is unquestionably headed our way.
Never did we see a serious examination of Obama, his policies, past relations, or a questioning of his paper thin resume. From the very beginning of the campaign the media fawned over this rube and turned a blind eye to all of his past indiscretions, focusing all of their efforts like a laser beam on the Republican ticket. Time and time again we heard stories about the most trivial of matters in a concerted effort to undermine the McCain/Palin ticket and demoralize their base. Not surprisingly these efforts were not relegated solely to the news desk or the editorial departments. We saw how they extended their efforts to disseminate pro Obama propaganda to the entertainment divisions of the media as well.
This begs the question; what did the media see in their chosen candidate that would cause them to blatantly abandon their responsibility to the public to provide fair and accurate news reporting and sell us all down the river? The answer is that in Obama they saw the ideal candidate. Obama represents to the media the vehicle through which they could achieve a silent and bloodless overthrow of the existing order and the establishment of a socialist utopia. Their collectivist ideology predisposes them to support anyone who offers up even the slightest resistance to capitalism. Socialism infects the journalist class to its marrow, eliciting a knee jerk reaction of support for anyone who promotes a collectivist agenda.
One must not overlook the racial aspects of this whole insidious scheme to hide Obama’s warts and portray him as a tax cutting moderate. To the media Obama represents the opportunity for America to assuage the guilt the left has projected upon it for the original sin of slavery. This is the decisive determining factor in understanding their overt bias for the Obama campaign. To them the only way to begin to remove this blemish from their souls is to hand the presidency over to someone whose sole redeeming characteristic in their eyes is his race. Any other candidate that would have had the inexperience of Obama would never have been given a second thought. Race trumps experience. Through Obama the media is practicing the most egregious form of Affirmative Action, and in due course the failure of this flawed practice will proves itself evident. To the left the coronation of Obama represents the cure for hundreds of years of oppression. Sadly though it will lead to a future full of the same for collectivism breeds oppression and its progeny are colorblind.
Expect the next four years to be filled with glowing reports of the advances that the new administration is making towards progress and change. Undoubtedly the media will attempt to reverse the current financial morass immediately following Obama’s inauguration explaining that all the market needed was a healthy dose of hope, higher taxes, and an influx of government control. Expect them to hide every blunder and every misstep this former street agitator makes as they chalk it up to the steep learning curve of the office. It will be up to all of us who oppose the present course to stay vigilant and shine the disinfecting light of the truth on those in the media and their soul mates in the administration. Rest assured we will be there to do just that with every ounce of determination in our souls.

There is no God but The State, and Obama is its Prophet

I must admit, and I do so with delight, that I am an apostate of the new religion. With the advent of The One, so too comes the era of religion of the state, complete with all the vestiges of the paganism it recalls. To deny its sanctity is blasphemy of the highest order for the state is all and its prophet is infallible. The development of this new religion has been long in the making and its arrival heralds a new day for the oppressed and down trodden. No longer will the oppressed masses lie at the mercy of their oppressor for the prophet has come to bring fairness and prosperity. I openly deny this prophet and his faith in the state. I believe in the individual and have faith in his abilities and talents. The state and its prophet be damned, for it is the state which seeks to plunge man into the abyss of collectivism and decay.
To place ones faith in the state as the protector and provider is to deny the individual and all that he represents. The individual represents what is good and righteous in man kind, for the individual harbors the possibility for progress and prosperity. The individual seeks to serve himself and in by doing so enriches all of society through his efforts. The state exists only as a means to control the efforts of man, stifle his creativity and energies, and saddles him with despair through its bureaucratic planning and control. Individualism is the basic unit of social progress because he pushes society through the evolutionary continuum through personal innovation, all while pulling the burden of the state along with him. The state represents all that which burdens man in his pursuit of progress and prosperity, despite this truth many blindly follow behind its banner.
Those who willingly follow Obama and his new order peruse a path that is ultimately opposed to their ultimate goals. Most, if not all who support this radical statist seek liberation through a collective effort and absolution from traditional religious morality, but what they will get is quite the opposite. The more the state controls the more it will seek to control. This compulsion towards control is not only limited to the mechanics of the economy but extends itself to the control of the individual, it is impossible to control the means of production without controlling the producer. Those who seek to burden the individual with an all controlling state, one that demands a collective effort to force change, will soon find that instead of the paradise on earth promised by their prophet they will find the hell of poverty and servitude distributed collectively amongst us all.

Protesting the Protesters

With a little over seventy days until Barak Obama is sworn in as 44th president the question beckons, who is organizing the opposition? Has anyone besides myself even begun to think about protesting this farce of an event. While thousands are shelling out huge sums of money in hopes of catching a glimpse of That One as he descends from the heavens and proceeds to confiscate loaves and fish from the wealthy to provide for the faithful, our movement appears to be sitting on its hands. At this point in 2004 the left was geared up with dozens of catchy slogans, pithy placards, and twenty foot tall effigies soaking in petrol awaiting the flames of a fiery protest. What are we doing? We are sniping at each other over who said what about Sara Palin and cowering in the corner licking our wounds inflicted in the last election. The time has come for action!
We owe this to the leftist who have now assumed control over our government. For the past eight years they have never missed an opportunity to make themselves heard. How often have you sat in furious silence while scurrilous members of Code Pink interrupted State of The Union addresses or congressional hearings in order to humiliate a sitting president or undermine our troops in the field? How often have you watched as the media breathlessly recounted in minute detail and glee filled voices the demonstrations organized by Moveon.org? Whether it be a conservative giving a speech at a university or President Bush visiting those who have been wounded in service to their country, the leftist were out in force doing everything in their power to undermine our message and diminish the image of the president. Today we see the result of 8 years of unchecked lies and distortions as our movement sits without a voice and the Republican Party has becomes absent of power. We must begin to give as good as we get, something lost amongst all those who have decided to take the high road. Sadly the high road has lead to our current state of affairs and appears to be a one way road to serfdom.
We have been defeated by tactics inspired by that sage of leftist rabble rousing, Saul Alinsky. Obama and his ilk have become very adept at employing these age old tried and true tactics, drawing on experience gained from his days as a street agitator to justify any and all means to an end. We must begin to respond in kind. We must begin to agitate and undermine. We must begin to engage in psychological operations just as they have in the recent campaign. We must stand up and show the world that not everyone is marching in lock step behind this charlatan who preaches unity but practices division.
Therefore we must take to the streets just as those who risked the whole lot during our founding. Many during the revolution stood idly by while history rushed past them. Others took the leap and made a stand against despotism, they stood up and said no, we do not condone the present course. We must be determined to not let this opportunity to peacefully, but vocally, protest the abomination that is about to befall our republic. History will look back and remember those who made a stand, pray that you are counted amongst their numbers.

Anything But Presidential

As if you needed proof, it is now obvious that President–Elect Obama is anything but a class act. Make no mistake the individual that is about to move into the most hallowed and prestigious residence in the world stands to lower the bar well below what we thought possible during the Clinton years. The complete lack of caution displayed by Obama and his transition team in disclosing the confidential discussion with President Bush on Monday should prove this to any honest observer. Team Obama wasted no time in running full speed to their favorite mouth pieces The New York Times and the AP in order to try and smear the sitting president in an attack that reeks of nothing more than rumor mongering and back stabbing. These tactics should come as no surprise to anyone who has paid the slight bit of attention to how Obama ran his campaign and the tactics used in the past to destroy his opponents.
Rumor mongering is nothing new to this hoodlum from the streets of Chicago. Simply look at the tactics employed during his 2004 senate campaign and you will get a good taste of how this man operates. Instead of going after Jack Ryan on issues and policy disagreements Obama’s staff worked behind the scenes to get Ryan’s previously sealed divorce records released so as to drag him through the mud. Typically the media was more than willing to go along for the ride, printing all of the salacious material they were fed by Obama’s campaign staff. Ryan eventually had to withdraw from the campaign in disgrace. These tactics are not surprising when one looks at the caliber of people Obama sought out and associated himself with. Unable to formulate a coherent philosophical attack founded on ideas these people always stoop to what is easiest and most convenient, the smear. Sadly, their collaborators in the MSM gleefully pile on in hopes of scoring a twofold success, one in circulation numbers, and the other at the ballot box.
To think that the halls of the White House, once home to Jefferson, Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt, and Reagan will be sullied by the likes of Obama causes my stomach to turn. The arrogance emanating from this street agitator now turned leftist messiah is not only nauseating but dangerous as well. Obama would best be served to learn a little humility and grace if he is to make anything of his presidency other than a complete debacle. Sadly that is not likely the case, for men of Obama’s stripe are often primed for the fall by the very devices which delivered them to the heights of their success. The media will serve to keep their chosen one’s ego inflated despite the reality that plays out on the international and domestic stage, forming a symbiotic relationship with possible disastrous results. The media has created this monster and has willing let it loose to run rough shod over the political landscape. Therefore it is up to us the great unwashed, with our pitchforks and torches in hand, to chase this villainous hound wherever he may run in hopes of drawing attention to his treacherous nature.

Yesterday while on Meet the Press, co-chair of Barack Obama's Transition Team, Valerie Jarrett, made a remarkable statement. She said “given the daunting challenges that we face, it's important that president elect Obama is prepared to really take power and begin to rule day one.” I for one would like to thank Mrs. Jarrett for demonstrating one of the basic differences between the socialist mindset and the capitalist mindset.

For the socialist obtaining power is the ultimate goal. It is only through the acquisition of this power that can they achieve their ends, the controlling of the economy, and thus the citizenry, through centralized planning. In their eyes Presidents “rule” over their fellow man, reducing all of those who are “ruled” over to little more than slaves. To the socialist, progressive, neo-communist, or whatever moniker they have attached to themselves to make this bludgeoning of our freedoms more palatable, they are entitled to be the “ruling” power by sheer virtue of their political position. They see themselves as infallible because they have been endorsed by the elites in academia, the entertainment industry, and their collectivist brethren across the pond in Europe. To them, the members of the great unwashed masses are nothing more than chattel to be told what to do and in what manner to do it. They recognize no one’s freedom except their own freedom to consolidate and centralize power, which I assure you they will exercise in a brutally repressive manner.
The very word “rule” itself drips with totalitarianism for it implies the absence of the ability to resist. To rule is to control the masses by sheer will and the full force of oppressive government, as opposed to the more democratic term of govern which implies benevolence and compassion. It is no surprise that Mrs. Jarrett chose this word to describe the approach that will be taken by the new “administration”, or in this case regime, because it denotes how this group views the application of power. To them power is to be wielded in a way that reshapes the social order to match their vision of social perfection, a society free from the intolerance and lack of fairness that they see when the look at America. They seek to saddle the current extended order with a corpulent federal government that will eventually smother the concept of freedom only to replace with its bastard son, fairness.
The idea that a president elected in an open and free election should “Rule” over the citizenry is nothing new in regimes like the ones found in Kenya, Venezuela, Or North Korea, but to us few here in the United States still coherent and unaffected by the hypnotic rhetoric of Herr Obama, it drips with authoritarianism. This begs the question… On whose authority is this power to rule bestowed upon Obama? It surely isn’t that of the citizenry, for we supposedly elected a president who made lofty promises to remedy the current dissatisfaction over our present course, not promises to supplant our system with the chains of tyranny. Is this power to rule bestowed by providence, the one they claim brought forth their messiah Obama to lead us into the light of a new order? In a sense yes, for the only god worshiped by the godless left is the god of political power and to it we must pay allegiance or face the sting of the whip. I for one will take a thousand lashes before I march in lock step with those who seek to “rule” as opposed to “govern”.

The Nature of Our Opposition

As with every November following a presidential election we now hear calls for unity and cooperation. The victor always extends a hand in friendship and the vanquished humbly accepts in hopes of clinging to some shred of power. To this I can only say “Resist!” We must never give up what little we have in hopes of appearing civil. Civility in the face of tyranny, and make no mistake that is ultimately what we face in this new administration, is nothing but a synonym for suicide. I would rather starve than subsist on the poisonous crumbs tossed from the table of Marxism. The idea of collaboration with those who have sought to undermine our movement is revolting, especially to those who see this for what it truly is; a struggle for freedom.
Has the left not sought over the past eight years to cut the feet out from under this nation’s rightfully elected leadership in a drive to delegitimize our world view? Have they not sunk to unprecedented levels in this pursuit? Have they not sought to alter the perception of the average citizen so that we are viewed as callous and heartless? This is their stock and trade for they have dealt in lies and innuendo. Even more insulting that all of this is that now that they have their hands on the reigns of power, they extend a hand in friendship in hopes that we will forgive and forget so that we get the opportunity to groom the very steed that trampled us.
There are those among us who urge restraint and compromise. Sadly they are more repulsive than our adversaries for they seek to aid and abet the attacks on the very freedoms that they claim to champion. A traitor is of lesser moral value than a despot, for at least a despot is truthful in his subjugation, where as the traitor seeks to conceal his distaste for freedom. The art of compromise is the very means through which we have arrived at our present position! The former GOP candidate even went as far as to use it as an incentive to garner votes, and we see how far that got him. Compromise is a fool’s errand that leads only to abandonment of ones goals and the enrichment of his enemy’s at the fool’s expense.
The leftist who now control and administer our government are fully aware that their agenda is divergent from the desires of most Americans and will therefore seek to disguise and mislead. It is our responsibility to call them to the mat at each and every turn. We are to become a beacon of hope, shining the light on their lies and corruption for the entire nation, if not the entire world, to see. Opposition is now our political faith and we should practice with vim and vigor until our voices are hoarse and our resolve broken. Open and hostile opposition is all that remains. Therefore we should revel in this opportunity for it is through this opposition that our freedoms shall be guaranteed.

What change hath the body politic wrought?

Now that the American Left have succeeded in hoisting one of their own into the Presidency what new and innovative ideas should we expect to see? The answer is none. What we are about to experience over the next four years is nothing more than a strategy of rebranding age old collectivist policies by cladding them in fresh twenty-first century slogans. They will call it change and herald it from the mountain tops in order to lead the moderates, now so important to their coalition, into a socialist morass. The redistributionist objectives will remain the same as they have since that idealistic fiend first crawled from the swamps of man’s resentment and sought to supplant the current extended order with his primitive philosophy.
The idea that the Obama Presidency will usher in an era of change and egalitarianism is the fodder for fools and fantasist alike. The suggestion that we are about to embark on a journey to a bright new day is refuted if one only looks at the state of imagination and creativity displayed by our adversaries on the left. Today’s artists and musicians, representative of the modern leftist movement, comprising a motley collection of socialist, anarchist, neo-communists, and drop outs, has displayed time and time again the inability to compose one original, truly artistic, work of art. Instead they peddle disappointingly unoriginal nonsense reeking of plagiarism and representing nothing more than a sham. When confronted with the stark reality surrounding the bankruptcy of their ideas they retreat to that citadel of the untalented, shock and outrageousness, often targeting the most vulnerable of institutions such as religion and long held moral traditions. One only has to look at recent past for examples of this sort of “art”; crucifixes submerged in urine, portraits of the virgin mother composed in elephant dung, and the refuse encapsulated in “gangsta’ rap” are among the most glairing examples.
This condition is evident throughout the creative class now dominating the political left. Examine the state of pop culture if you will. This fundamental component of American culture is burdened with rehashed ideas and symbolism dating back over fifty years, and in some cases much longer. The fashion industry continuously borrows its ideas from generations past in an attempt to reinvent those heady days of the 60’s and 70’s. Modern music is even worse in its plagiarism, going so far as to actually cut segments from earlier works and splicing them together in a flawed attempt to call it new and original. The best example though can be displayed by examining the most recent instances of political iconography. Throughout the recent campaign we were inundated by imagery depicting Obama in visual structures strikingly similar to that of Stalinist Russia or Nazi Germany. Messianic images and super human illustrations confronted us on a daily basis, all of them seen before, the only difference being the individual being represented.
The creative capital possessed by any political movement can best be quantified by closely examining the collective output of the artistic class it is associated with. In the case of leftist movements throughout the world we see not only stagnation and decay but the obvious lack of any new or innovative ideas. This does not jive, if you will, with the promises made by Team Obama and his ideological brethren on the left. His campaign typified this vacancy of originality by going back to the trough of socialist vernacular time and time again, although this time clad in a more palatable terminology. What we have been saddled with is not new and original, but simply a stale ideology in a fresh coat of paint.

We are now the opposition and as such the historic responsibility to maintain the Republic has fallen to us.

Capitalists, conservatives, and all free thinking citizens do not despair, for all is not lost. While the days ahead may appear foreboding and uncertain, there is hope, and it lies within each of us. The fire of freedom that burns in the bosom of each and every citizen must not be squelched by the developments of the recent past. Yes, it would appear at first glance that this great nation has taken a whiplash inducing turn to the left, but our opposition still remains. If the majority is determined to drive America over the cliff into the gaping chasm of socialism it is our duty to force them to drag us kicking and screaming the entire way. The time has come for our presence to be felt on the streets and our voices heard above the din. Our enemies are numerous and well organized therefore we must steel our resolve and harden our response. For too long we have sat in furious silence while those who have arrayed themselves against us have launched salvo after salvo against our freedoms. We see the results of those assaults today, and it is striking.
Our mission at The Hostile Opposition is to facilitate the dissemination of the intellectual and philosophical arguments against socialism, provide a rallying point for those opposed to collectivist policies, and translate these into real world action.
