We are now the opposition and as such the historic responsibility to maintain the Republic has fallen to us.

Capitalists, conservatives, and all free thinking citizens do not despair, for all is not lost. While the days ahead may appear foreboding and uncertain, there is hope, and it lies within each of us. The fire of freedom that burns in the bosom of each and every citizen must not be squelched by the developments of the recent past. Yes, it would appear at first glance that this great nation has taken a whiplash inducing turn to the left, but our opposition still remains. If the majority is determined to drive America over the cliff into the gaping chasm of socialism it is our duty to force them to drag us kicking and screaming the entire way. The time has come for our presence to be felt on the streets and our voices heard above the din. Our enemies are numerous and well organized therefore we must steel our resolve and harden our response. For too long we have sat in furious silence while those who have arrayed themselves against us have launched salvo after salvo against our freedoms. We see the results of those assaults today, and it is striking.
Our mission at The Hostile Opposition is to facilitate the dissemination of the intellectual and philosophical arguments against socialism, provide a rallying point for those opposed to collectivist policies, and translate these into real world action. Through this three pronged approach we hope to spread the truth about socialism and the danger it poses to the Republic.

  2. Here, Here!

I am not what the elitists (in this country) would consider a rich man.

    I've no trust fund.
    I've no formal education.
I've survived and prospered by my sheer-wit & opportunity alone. Opportunity endowed to me by a certain document.

That old document - and those guarantees which lie within - is pretty much all of what will resemble a legacy, that I may pass on (to my kids) when I ultimately leave this world. It is the most valuable of valuables...and Its worth fighting for.

Its not cash nor any other tangible, which may be squandered away during one's brashness of youth. It's a lifestyle which ought to be enjoyed and PROTECTED by all those who are citizens of this country. (past, present AND future)

As with any tangible possession (be it gold, books, or even a lawnmower) this too, MUST be protected.

I would paralyze the hand, any hand, which would dare to deprive my children their legacy (or any other possession), which I afford to them. Just like a bear to its cub(s). For_this_is_NATURAL_Law. Its easy to follow. It makes sense. -It shall be followed. For it is, a natural right.

    Wealth
The only success/wealth which should ever be redistributed is that which is prescribed in the B.O.R. (Bill of Rights). To redistribute equal coverage of these rights, when we see there exists none.

To Preserve this *Wealth*, a Proud, Vigilant, and Determined refusal to accept the Unacceptable, must be coded (see also moral code) into one's mind.

This is something which "the elect"...if I may..."Just doesn't get".

I resisted him with my vote, I hope he truely "hears" me.

Operor Non Insito in Mihi! No compromise, no *bipartisan*, to extent your arm in compromise, serves only to shackle your cause.

Think about it. Think about what you want to have remembered while you were around. Think about YOUR legacy. Do you want to be remembered as part of (lack of resistance, might as well be participation of) a generation which let a way of life...OUR way of life...a way which soo many gave the ultimate sacrifice for, because they believed in it...fade away into the night?

Or...OR...Would you want to be known as one who stood up and declared "Not on my watch, and not while I can do something about it".

First, I resisted with my vote...

  3. "STOPPING SENSE"
When I was a small child, I was into everything and would sometimes get to doing something that irritated my mother and she would whack me on the bottom and look me dead in the face and ask "Don't you have any stopping sense?..Enough". I did not realize until later in life just how important the term "stopping sense" is to the survival of a capitalist society. I consider myself the essential capitalist. Only once in my life have I ever worked for anyone but myself. I had my own small business as a teenager and have owned many since and employed many people in the process. The thing I see out of all this mess we are in today is simply that too many people do not understand the concept of stopping sense, of how much is enough. In the growth of a capitalist society, when it is young and opportunity abounds there is the "that guy made it big..that is wonderful we live here"... Over the years, our system has as all capitalistic systems do caused a shift of wealth to the point there are the very wealthy and the very poor, and then you begin hearing "that greedy so and so makes 100 million a year, nobody is worth that" When we capitalists finally understand that we must have some "stopping sense", realize when we have enough and need to get out of the way so others can have an opportunity capitalism will survive long term.. Capitalism as we currently practice it is doomed to fail unless we capitalists teach ourselves when to get away from the table and give someone else a chance.

  4. Self imposed is noble;
    Government Mandated...simply isn't.

Let those businesses which over extend themselves, fall.
